ok so I personally think this is the best game of the month by far. but looking at the comment section I think Dark souls 2 will win sadly

Yeah, both Titanfall and Dark Souls have a bigger fanbase at this moment. It's Quantity over Quality this time
I think by the time the whole season is out it will be recognized a lot more. Most of the comments are mostly praising how long dark souls was.
in my opinion walking dead should win.
South Park would be a runner up for me though

The Souls games(Demon's, Dark 1 and probably 2 - only played it for a few minutes) are actually really good games. If someone doesn't like them, then they just don't like that genre.
I love rpgs but It just doesn't seem all that impressive its not as good as skyrim :P

I don't think it's off topic... this thread is about IGN's game of the month and it's one of the entries. It's an action game, the role-playing part is probably only referring to the character progression/stats. The gameplay itself is action. You don't get much story, ANY dialogue options, quests, experience... you pretty much just try to find out where you're supposed to be and kill everything that looks ugly while dieing hundreds of times in the process. That doesn't sound much like Skyrim to me.

only for fans of the series...I played it and while I thought it was hilarious, I didn't quite think the gameplay was really anything spectacular.

SUPER repetitive, fart jokes aren't funny, hate mute main characters, only reason people like it is nostalgia from the show. Not even slightly impressive; could have been made in 2004 and no one would be able to tell the difference. Absolutely disgusting at times. 6/10

Why can't I enjoy other games? I would maybe have voted twd if they didn't make european ps3 players waint a week for release date while Sucker Punch gave infamous a release date months ago.

Well for me South Park does get some extra points for being one of the best (if not the best) tv series adaptation's ever.
If you are a fan of South Park there's no way you're not going to love it.
Still, what a shame.
