Decisions you regret from Season 1

edited April 2014 in The Walking Dead

What are some decisions that you regret and think might come back to screw you in the second season?

For one, I really regret killing Danny st John with the pitchfork, Even though i spared the other one, Clementine still witnessed what I did so im afraid she might think killing is ok or something.

Treating Kenny the way I did back in Season 1. I tried to save Larry (just so I could punch him the face, I swear!) and my friendship with him deteriorated from there. I made no attempts to be friends with him again (although, to be fair, "I'm tryna protect a REAL family here! Not that fucking SHAM you're running back there!" isn't a great way to help) and when the time came to find Clementine, after all I did for HIS family, Kenny's response made me choose the "Go fuck yourself" option. Now, seeing him care for Clem as his own (I guess, right?) made me struggle with not changing my entire main playthrough just to be on his good side. Then, I disagreed with him again as Clementine and the E3 trailer made me think "Ah! There's the old son of a bitch! How I've missed you". Seriously, he's holding a grudge against an 11-year old.

  • Ehh...same with you

  • I don't think I have any regrets

  • Leaving Lilly behind.

Even though that is a good thing (Since i kept my beautiful RV) i felt bad for her after Lee left her, and if she comes back, i'm fucked.

  • I guess maybe taking the station wagon stuff. I couldn't bear with the thought of Clem going hungry (and cold). But now that I look back I wish I would have stood with Clem.

  • First playthrough? Did not try and save Larry, i was thinking if/when he comes back we'd be screwed, but Clementines super shocked face told me that i was an monste on that moment... even if i think that mashing Larrys corpse is the right thing to do... but poor Clementine, and Lilly.

  • Honestly though probably not the best thing to regret but it for me is not stabbing Danny and kicking Andy into the fence. I should have made sure those freaks had no chance of coming back.

In season 2 I guess I feel a little bad for being annoyed by Walters go happy attitude.

Look how happy Clem being there makes him. I did an alternate runthrough of Season 1 where I didn't side with Kenny and I felt like such a monster.

  • Drinking the water in episode 1 that's what ultimately killed Lee :(

    Siding with Kenny.
I like Kenny's character and all but I don't like him anymore in S2.

  • i regret taking Lily to the vehicle again after carly's death, but i wondering, what will be happening to the RV if Lily is not with the group?,

i like Kenny's character too, but he didn't try to save Lee in any dangerous situation.

  • I've already faced the consequences of stealing food from the car, so not killing St. Johns. That's something I would say is stupid in a movie or TV show, and it was equally stupid here. I should've made sure.

  • seriously, what's with the downvotes?

  • when i had to choose from saving Carly or Doug. i thought it will take me a long time try saving Doug by myself and then carly will not make it, while carly was out of ammo and she just needed another clip, so i went for her first so that i go help Doug until she come and help me with her gun. but in fact what happened was, lee gave Carly the clip, and he was standing as he watching her shooting these zombies, and then we saw Doug's death.

  • look to the bright side, you have 2 likes so far

  • I remember after playing episode 5, I looked online and saw that if you had not used up all of your bullets making a stand against the walkers, you could have given them to him in the alleyway with Ben. I thought that really would have helped him out there. And then season 2 episode 2 lol
