Lee comes back in a Dream or Hallucination. How much do you want this to happen?

I want it so bad. It would probably be one of the most emotional moments of the season if done right.
Also
TELLTALE, MAKE IT HAPPEN.

I think it would be awesome if it is done well enough. also you should censor that thing on the right its inappropriate to show.
I kind of expect this, actually. And I expect to cry.
(Another suggestion other than a dream for a Lee cameo, didn't Carley suggest that Lee 'record his thoughts' on that camcorder? No idea how it would come into Clementine's possession, but maybe he did.)
didn't think of that that's a good idea actually maybe Lee gave it to clem before he died at some point.
I'm actually not sure how much I'd want to see something like this. What would be the point of it? To show that Clem misses Lee? We already know that. To show that she's losing touch with reality? There are subtler ways of doing that. I don't know what bringing Lee back in a dream sequence would really add.
Feels. What the game is all about.
Eh. Feels are great and all but they're more impactful to me if there's a deeper meaning behind them than just "aww, that's sad." A dream sequence should convey something about why the character is having that dream. Otherwise, it'd just feel shoehorned in.
Shouldn't happen. Lee died in a epic way that will forever be remember by us and should stay that way. Keep bring him in will just ruin what was build up.
I'm not sure whether i would like to see a full Lee apparition or just his voice, a dream could work as long as it isn't too cheesy.
One scenario that could work is Clementine is alone in a snowstorm and is ready to give up when she starts to hallucinate Lee's voice encouraging her to keep going and not to give up which could end up saving her life instead of her dying from exposure in the snowstorm.
Maybe Dave will come back playing as an bandit or someone who Clem runs into . Maybe Tavia is Lee's ex girlfriend and she will have flashbacks of him. Clem also still has the camera Carly found.
I doubt Lee will come back, if he does then Telltale would need to come up with a good story of how he came back alive, got out of Savannah and strangely how he got to Clem's location.
even though i do want a dream sequence or hallucination i reckon 9 times out of 10 everyone will cry
Knowing TTG and TWD it'll probably be a nightmare sequence à la zombie Clem.
This would possibly happen in the season finale.
been wanting this to happen since day 1 hope they actually do it
Clem: Woah...where am I?
Lee: Hey sweet pea, remember this place? This is where we first met.
Clem: Lee...(tears start falling)
The two then share a hug
Clem: I miss you...so much! (sobs)
Lee would have to say something he has once said to Clem in the last season. Dreams are just a mixture of memories, so yeah.
Like: "Hey, sweat pea."
"You're strong, Clem. You can do anything."
Jesus, I WANT MORE FEELS!
Lee: You're smart Clem...smarter than all of them! You gotta do what you gotta do...
If there's a dream it should be happy ending version to season one with Clem's parents and Lee still alive.
Seeing how Clementine feels guilty and all... I believe that it will be a nightmare like in Season 1 Episode 3.
She might see those who died as walkers.
It might be hope, where she "sees" everyone who cared about her and died; her parents, Lee, more maybe.
Season finale ?
Well, damn it's hard..
Someone mentioned in another thread that it would be cool to have the last scene of "No Time Left" from Clementine's point of view.
We are talking about a Clem's dream, not about bringing him back to life.
we know he's dead but that doesn't mean he couldn't come back in dream. or maybe dave is voicing another character which clem will hear thinking its lee
Maybe in episode 5 she doesn't know what to do and is in a situation where she says, "I wish Lee was here.". Then she gets like a hallucination and hears Lee's voice and Lee encourages Clem to survive and gives her a hint about how to get out of her situation and then before he fades away he says, " Clem, right now, there's. No. Going. Back." As a throwback to episode 5 of the first season
YES. JUST YES
It wouldn't be bad. TTG knows how to revive deceased characters. Like the way they use Dave Fennoy/Lee's voice for the intro of the Season 2 episodes. To remind us that they're still here.
A hallucination would seem kind of contrived unless they justify it with something more than "Clem's going nuts, lol". A near-death experience seems more believable. It's not unheard of for someone who is at death's door to have an out-of-body experience, see dead loved ones, hear the voice of god, etc.
Done right, it could be very powerful and ease her mental/emotional burdens.
ikr... im scared for life now
oh yaa. omg that would SUCK to see lee as a zombie.
At first I thought this would be a good idea. After giving it much consideration I think this would be a great idea. There are so many ways they could do this and make it emotionally tearing. I have specific stipulations for what I would consider being a worth while scene though. I would be highly critical of the situation. But there are just so many ways they would play it out.
Encouraging words for Clementine during a difficult trial which she is likely to die/fail. It would probably play out better as a hallucination vs a preemptive dream or reflecting dream. Perhaps bot even a hallucination, but imagined words from the dark or a memory flooding her mind (the memory wouldn't make much sense, since all moments of conscience spent with characters are outside their mind. Only venturing into Lee's mind once during the dream sequence on the rv)
Reassuring dream in which Lee promptly speaks words of wisdom, courage, and peace like he is so well known for. This is my least favorite option, it's predictable, done, and completely not innovative. It would still be a good scene, but its rehearsed, reused nature would limit it to just that, good.
A nightmare. This is my favorite option. Lee coming back to blame and scold Clementine would be horrible. The walking dead is known for being dark. Blood, death, harsh survival. This has a new tone of horrible attached to it. Not only does she blame herself, but seeing Lee blame her (which is in all actuality still just her blaming herself, just manifested in a worse manner) would destroy the player, or any player attached to her that is.
I'm sure there are more than just these three. But these are the only three I have put any consideration into.
A glimpse of goodness from seeing Lee in a hallucination would be perfect, but from what you said in #3, I love the idea, just dont think I would like it to happen
It would be great for that to happen and cause Clem to in some way redeem herself for whatever she did wrong and overall that would be so much more powerful. Interesting theories!
I want it to happen. It will make Clem fight on surviving knowing Lee is guiding her even if only in a dream
I've said this before and I'll say it now. The way I think it would work out great is this:
A group of walkers cut Clementine off from the rest of the group. She starts fighting them as they close in around her. Suddenly, Lee (Armless or not) jumps in, hatchet in hand, and starts taking them out.
Clementine, in astonishment, says "Lee!"
Lee replies with one word "Fight!"
So then Clementine helps him in taking out the walkers until she's covered in blood, panting, and surrounded by the bodies. Whoever's around you, like Luke or Kenny, says something like "How did you do that?"
Clementine looks up perplexed, then looks back. Lee's not there.
"We saw you alone in there! Man you're tough as nails!"
Thank you
I wouldn't like if it happened either. But I want it to happen. Confusing I know. I don't want anything bad to happen to Clem, but that's what makes the story, and what makes it such a moving game. The more powerful a scene is the better it will inevitably be in the long run, even if you hate it as it's happening. The tropishness of the 'warm cozy reunion' version limits it to pretty emotional, not extremely powerful like the latter. All in my opinion, of course.
I'm not sure she could redeem herself for what I imagine Lee (or her subconscious) would be blame her for. I'd think he would blame her for his death, the destruction of the group and the deaths of its members, and being the sole reason of many other deaths (which we all realize is not completely the case, but she still feels is).
That's a good idea!
She's back at the motel in a dream, talking with everyone. But when she turns her head back to look at certain people, they suddenly have blemishes. Like welts, or cracked skin. (They're all still talking like normal). Suddenly she looks to see people like Katjaa, or Ben, slowly getting closer to the appearance of walkers. Then she'll turn around to see the same in Lee or Lilly, and then back to see that Katjaa or Ben look even more like walkers.
Now the conversation begins to focus on Clementine, and they start accusing her. Slowly they all surround her and attack/berate her with questions. She sees a normal S2 Kenny walking by in the background and yells for his help. He walks away.
I would personally love to see Clementine hitting an all-time low - completely alone, no hope, no food, injured, surrounded by walkers - and she reaches a temporary safe place, falls asleep, and dreams of Lee, Ed, Diana, Omid, Duck, Katjaa, etc. They tell her to keep going for them and man it would be SO DAMN CORNY but I would love it, the sap that I am.
Also, I like the idea of one of the episodes starting off with what seems like a flashback to the motel, or the drugstore. You can talk to all the old characters again but then they start to insult you and decay in front of Clem's eyes.
It is kind of strange that he got interviewed, could be a possibility that he may return in a flashback or hallucination. I think it would be awesome just to have a cameo appearance of Lee Everett, I definitely wouldn't mind this one bit.
As much as it would suck emotionally, a dream sequence with everyone that has died, especially with Lee, Clem's parents, AND the babysitter (uh-oh!), would be amazing. Just start it off with the most recent people dying criticizing Clem and have it go back all the way to Lee, the baby sitters, and ultimately her parents (especially if Clem looses her hat, dad can call her on it). The best spot for this would be some time during episode 5. Clem can be running alone in the woods. She eventually finds a place to hide and passes out. The dream will open her eyes that if she doesn't let go of the past, she will "kill" herself (metaphorically speaking) before any walker or human can. As a matter of fact, if this happens in episode 4, this will be a good time for Clem to ditch her hat. She can take it off and leave it. As much as she misses her family, the hat is causing her to hold on to the past and is bearing more bad memories than good. Anywho, I like the dream idea as long as it is executed beautifully and it helps move the plot.
I liked how Clem mentioned Lee's name when telling Luke about her past, but I wouldnt be interested in a Lee dream sequence.
Simply for the reason he's dead.. Let it go... People cried wanting Carley back, couldnt accept the fact she was dead.
Let it go!!
