Fun fact I discovered while replaying season 1 episode 5

So, when you fight through a walker hoard as Lee....you can get bitten again. Around halfway through, let one attack you, it's a certain one though. I don't remember very well which one. It seems to bite Lee, then he pushes it off and you can kill it. I don't know what happens if you let it attack you again, I didn't test it, but i assume Lee just dies and you get a game over screen.

He's already bitten so it doesn't matter, but I thought adding that in was interesting.

  • I wish I knew which part of the fight it was so I don't have to constantly die.

  • You start in handcuffs and you end in handcuffs
Clem saves you by giving you a hammer, now you give her a baseball and saves her life

  • I think it's the one right before the halfway cutscene, a woman I believe. If you haven't figured that out already.

  • I already knew this, but it is also very interesting. I guess it's to say that in the end, Lee ended his journey in the same way he started it. Or at least a very similar way. But he was given a second chance, so he could save Clementine. :D

  • I'll try that out thanks!

  • Yep, that's true. You can also get shot in the stomach while fighting with the Stranger and continue the game.

  • Really? I assume that happens if he gets to the gun before you can ram him into the closet? That's interesting as well, thanks for the info. :D

  • No problem. :D

Also, it might be worth noting that in the playthrough I was just playing on, I kept Lee's arm. I don't know if that makes a difference, probably not though.

  • I always keep Lee's arm, the song in Lee's fight with the herd is more place.

Lee's Death was foreshadowed in Episode 4. When you get separated from Clem, Kenny, and Molly by the walker and have to go down the sewers, keep on the same path before. After you move through the tunnel, you'll find a pile of "half-eaten sewer rats". If you use the hand icon on them, Lee will say "I ain't touching that. Last thing I need is some God-awful disease". And what happens at the near end of Episode 4?

  • That has nothing to do with this....

  • Well, it's another little hidden tidbit just like mine. I personally like it. :D

You can also get bitten by the walker in the brown suit as well, and then you get a second chance at killing him. If you fail to attack him for a second time, he kills you.

So, all in the span of one episode, Lee can have his forearm lopped off, get bitten in the chest/shoulder twice, get shot in the stomach and still not hit a game over. In short, he's a goddamn tank.

  • Well, this will probably be useful information in future "Lee vs other person" threads lol. :D

    Good find!

After Lee and Kenny argue, the group discovers they can go to the other house through the attic. Omid finally pushes through and they find a couple that killed themselves in bed. Kenny walks away upset and gives a monologue about Katjaa's death and helping Lee. When you finally regain control Lee's movements, go over to Kenny and talk to him. He'll say "Don't ask me how I'm doing. Let's just keep moving". Press the talk button on Kenny 4 or 5 more times and then there's a cutscene where Lee says something like "Randy Tudor. Damn good man. Powerful stache. One of the greats!". I believe Randy Tudor is the lead programmer for TWD.
