On her own no one to protect her very dangerous for anyone. Mentally she will go crazy as needs someone to talk to so she keeps sane. Where will she get food and supplies. No Clem will find perfect life and be happy on a farm somewhere secure with lots of food and nice group WATCH!!

Effectively, everything in this world is ephemeral, including our own consciousness. That why you always need to live with an open hand: when things come to you, good or bad, you accept them and take them in. If what comes is good, you don't grasp after them when it's their time to go, that leads to suffering. The same way, when bad things come, you don't force them away, because they're coming anyway and doing so would only lead to more suffering.
First of all
Second, I do agree that the group isn't the best one that she could have ended up with, hell even I wanted to ditch them in the beginning but for now she has no other choice but to stick with them. The group trusts her more and they protected her for the most part. Clem is a tough survivor but honestly, she's not ready to face this on her own just yet. I say she should stick with the group for little bit until she finds a safe place or more familiar faces she could trust.

Plus, seeing how she even got to grow a liking for Ben in Season 1, I think she wouldn't just ditch these people like that, no matter how hardened she's been growing up. When I played Clementine in the game, the second season did a really good job of immersing me in the character that I was really putting myself into Clem's mind, like what the sweet little girl we knew from Season 1 would do and stuff. And yeah, I was still pissed off as hell when the group acted like jerks to me, but at the end of the day, I just can't see the girl who thought that stealing food for survival was bad could just ditch people no matter the circumstances.
Yeah, Clem cares for people and I think she doesn't want to be alone, she'll feel safer with more people around her.
