Assuming that I was on the exact same situation. Aka, we were traumatized with what happened to nick's mom. And assuming we can't tell that it's a dog bite. And we really are very very short on supplies. And assuming we don't have ropes(for the tie her up theory)
I would still give Clementine treatment and then I'd opt to watch her in the shed myself. With a gun in my hand of course in case worse comes to worst. If Clementine loses consciousness again in front of me. I'd be scared shitless and exit the shed and keep it closed, but still stay right outside the shed, waiting for her to either wake up, or "wake up". Depending on whether I hear her talking or hear walker sounds is what will decide my next move.
if i were in that group i would lock Clem in one of rooms, yes it is hard to know what bites her, but throwing her in the barn without medical assistance is inhumanely
Tell me about it! I mean how in the hell would Sam would hold grip on Clem's arm anyway! There would've been bite marks there too. I am grateful we didn't have to stitch the other side of arm as well, I think everyone would've fainted by then. lol
The thing I really dislike is that they didn't check the under side of the wound. Obviously the dog didn't just bit the top of the arm, it g… moreot her on the bottom of the arm too. I feel like if they saw that they'd be able to notice that it'd have to be a dog because a walker wouldn't be able to get it's jaw around the arm in the way the dog did.
Same Clem situation stitch her up help her then talk to her at the table give her something to eat get her relaxed and feel safe. Discuss what happened and possible solutions like cutting the part of the body with bite off to save her. Then during night let her have own room to sleep but lock the door or cover it with objects to make sure if she did turn she wouldn't be able to leave the room and hurt anyone during the night
"Yo that shit's obviously not a walker bite, are you people fucking stupid? Carlos you're supposed to be a doctor? What's your doctorate in, philosophy? Religion? Sure as shit can't be medicine. Oh, now she's a spy for Carver? She surgically crafted this life-threatening wound and used her honed skill at academy-award level acting and undercover espionage training that she must've cultivated in kindergarten to get an in with us? These are the hypotheticals you're seriously entertaining? Wow. I hate you people. What's wrong with all of you? Did you all inhale swamp-gas? Did you crack open thermometers and pour liquid mercury in your eyes? You eating bowls of paint-chips instead of Doritos nowadays? Have you rigged up a battery-operated microwave to work while open so you stay warm at night? Did a nuclear power-plant have a meltdown near here? No really, what's the reason? How can all of you be this dumb?"
I get not wanting to waste medical supplies on her, but I would at least bring her inside to let her get cleaned up and wash out the bite with water. They had running water in the cabin.
I wouldn't have left her in the shed, either. I understand if no one would want to give up their room in the cabin, but they could have blocked off the kitchen or put her in the little room where the trap door was. Have someone watch her and keep her company. Standing guard does not mean standing right next to her so she can bite you if she turns.
I thought it was pretty messed that they were totally okay with an 11-year-old girl who is by herself dying cold and alone in the shed. If they absolutely had to leave her in the shed, at least give her a blanket and something to eat. Even if you were convinced she was gonna die, this is at least giving her some kind of comfort in her last moments.
It really didn't sit well with me how Carlos was like "Well, we'll wait to see if she's dead in the morning," and then later that he was like "The fever would have set in by now so she's good." Seriously? You could have just left her in the shed for a few hours, checked on her periodically, then brought her inside when you realized she wasn't showing symptoms. It's 2 years into the apocalypse, surely they've seen dozens of people turn. Unless they were really sheltered in Carver's camp.
Lastly, I would raid a local Barnes & Noble, grab a book on identifying animal bites, and whack Carlos upside the head with it.
I would have brought her back to cabin as quickly as i could, cleaned the wound out (SAW THAT IT WAS QUITE CLEARLY A DOG BITE and ignored Carlos lol) and left her in the shed over night with a little food and water. (not to mention checked on her a few times throughout the night).
She's only a little girl and from my perspective (as horrible as it may sound) she would be easily "dispatched" if she did turn - That is after all why Kenny killed Larry, because had he turned in Kenny's words he was a walking tank - a little girl on the other hand is easy enough, you would recognise the symptoms that she was going to turn and ""take her out"" then. You don't just abandon her in the woods to die/turn alone - that's horrible, you've got to at-least try and save her. Although at first i would probably have dropped her like Luke did and stood wondering what to do, after all it would be shocking, but i would have pulled myself together thought about it morally and took her back to the cabin to get medicine.
Nah, you don't need anybody's permission to express your opinions. My intention isn't to undermine what you're saying, I too was defending a point I felt was given inadequate credit.
As I said, I wasn't the person who originally brought it up. I was mostly defending it because it was being put down like it didn't mean any… morething at all. It might not mean much, but that doesn't mean it's completely invalid. I probably should have just kept my opinions to myself though, for all the good this has done anybody...
Guess it makes sense if you look at Clementine's would going the opposite way of the GOUSTTT's picture.
Also, your pic... ouch. Is that a dog bite? Not sure how other countries do things, but I'm pretty sure it's legally required to put the dog down if he does that.
I would tend to her wound and keep a close eye on her, I would cuff her hand to something in a locked room. I would check on her frequently and at least give her some water or something
While playing it made me so angry what they did to Clem. I've thought about what I would have done, and it goes something like this: I would volunteer a portion of the supplies to treat him/her under reasoning that if I'm wounded they won't have to treat me. Then I would guard them (preferably in the house because the shed is surrounded by walkers) while trying to converse with them in order to determine what kind of person they are. Yes the supplies bit is a bit stupid on my part, but I have a soft spot for kids (partially because I have a younger sister) so leaving them to die is a no-no for me.
If I was in the cabin group's shoes, I'd be dead. Why? Because I would be too damn incompetent to survive two hours into the zombie apocalypse, let alone two years.
I'd say,

I'd take her inside, cleaned the wound, patch it up, bitch slap Carlos and ask him if he's blind, interrogate her, offer her my room and some of my rations and then finally watch over her, making sure she wasn't a threat.

If you peek into the kitchen during the game, you'll see that the group IS having a discussion on what to do with Clem.
Actually you're right, but look at how wide it is. No human jaw is that wide
Same thing I did for the Shawn/Duck dilemma - save the kid. I have a soft spot for kids like that.

" What if you were in the Cabin group's shoes? "
I was working as a paramedic at my community service. So that makes me a better doctor than Carlos!

I guess I'd be the Uncle Pete of the group.
If I was in their shoes they would be ginormous.
