    Sad spelling,
    Sad troll.

    Obvious troll is obvious.

  • I dunno. Titles like that don't seem to matter to Clem Clem.

In the TV show... In the comic (which is the world the game exists in), Carl is insanely dependable in Rick's group. He does nothing but help. Screwing up only once or twice. One was when he was pissed over somebody's death, and ended up gunning down 5-10 baddies with a fucking assault rifle, while also getting himself trapped.

Hell no! You can't even trust that asshole to stay in a house, let alone be a father.

  • Why do you figure that?

I already have a counter argument (if you have reasons for my previous question). Most lids don't have any interest in titles...

I mean, maybe if it is important to the guy, I see her going through with it. She just seems too practical, and she didn't have the time in the normal world for the culture of getting married to sink into her brain. And anybody I would be okay with being with her probably wouldn't have either.

  • Yeah I can definitely see that. She didn't see or probably understand marriage aside from her parents being together (and she probably knew they were "married" from a child's limited understanding, meaning probably no more than just the word). So I can see her not caring. Then again I could see her caring for other some other reasons, but the explanation would be exhausting and I lean more towards your side anyways.

On a side note, why would 'the man' wanting to carry that title be a sign of flaw? I don't think it speaks to any important mindset, or at least not one I would use in judging the man as good enough for Clementine.

  • I meant time in the normal world for the real meaning of marriage. Perhaps his parents survived a lot longer, and, for some reason, kept telling him about marriage, and when he grew up, he wanted to get married.

  • No I understood what you meant. That's what the first part of my post was talking about :p

I just don't see how him wanting to get married is a flaw in anyway, or even a sign of flaw in regards to his personality/goals/morals/psyche/wants/needs/etc or general mindset. < in reference to "And anybody I would be okay with being with her probably wouldn't have either."

  • Not to be a dick or macabre, but if TTG wanted to play the pregnant card again, it would have to be unique ala sexual assault, "date rapish". I don't think any one of us want to see that.

  • That'd be a really big jump if that happened. It'd also feel like she's still a child having a kid instead of an adult if she got pregenant next season. If they make seasons continuously of Clementine they'd probably go
    1. Teenage Clem (anywhere from 13-17)
    2. Young Adult (18-22)
    3. Adult (22+) and maybe pregenant at the end.

  • Even for once, why can't I support the 'Nuke' shipping? D:

Honestly, that's the very worst thing TellTale could possibly do. They'd have to jump ahead several years, or make her have the baby at an extremely young age. Then, there's the issue of who in the fuck knocked my little girl up? Oh god, if they announced that, Cluke fans would go fucking insane.

    Please. God no.

The only possible way I could see this maybe working out if it was an epilogue and it just showed her like happily pregnant and rubbing her tummy. Then she freezes and her face scrunches up and she calls out to some unseen character off screen that she's having contractions. We hear the unknown person start freaking out. Cut to black. Then all the normal people can assume the person off screen was the father and all the Cluke fans can claim that the person was just a friend. I might be okay with her being pregnant if it happened exactly like that. Otherwise, no thanks!

EDIT: And in the epilogue she was like in her 20s and the zombie apocalypse was under control. I don't think Clementine would be particularly excited to have a child in a ZA after god knows what happened with Christa's baby, and all the shit with Rebecca. She's probably like, "Fuck that shit, I ain't havin' no kid!" at this point.

  • I humbly accept this elevation, Commander! Now gentlemen, to the Officer's Club!

Yes officers, to the gentelmen's club!

I humbly accept this elevation, Commander! Now gentlemen, to the Officer's Club!

  • As messed up as a ZA would be and all of the messed up scenarios already conjured up by TWD, my suggestion maybe extreme but not out of the realm of possibility. Not fully knowing the demo of this game, the Rebecca situation is probably as far as they should push the preggo scenario.
