Why would carver care so much about finding the group?
Ok so I know Rebecca's baby was probably his, but why does Carver care so much about finding the group? Why didn't he just take Rebecca back with him. I wouldn't walk five days to find them....

He had to find them to take Rebecca back with him. Can't do one without the other.
Maybe he's a control freak, or megalomaniac, or both.
maybe he think's it would be better if rebecca had her friends with her other than not being with her, but he would need to find them so he could find her.
I suppose if the group just decided to ditch Rebecca (and Alvin), Carver probably wouldn't be as interested pursuing them. But, I don't know. I guess there's a sort of camaraderie there that keeps them all looking out for each other.
The thing is, he needs Carlos for delivering Rebecca's baby. He is also kind of like Negan. He is reasonable and he will make them live under his wing, ultimately making everyone doubt him and Clementine might find out what the group is really hiding.
This is a theory.
I thought this was already explained?
My theory is that people escaping his camp makes him look weak and undermines his power. He'll bring them back and treat them like shit, so nobody else tries to escape. Tavia in 400 Days mentioned they need people to survive, I don't really know what that means because I don't think they're all cannibals but I'm sure it will be explained.
Well he wants Rebecca and he wants (i guess) to avenge George if im not mistaken, He said Alvin killed him.
Luke stole the original copy of his 100 page Naruto slashfic.
No wonder he ran off when he saw him and his goons approaching.
Maybe strength in numbers?
