Hm. Uh. No. Carl is comic Carl. In the game, anyways. Carl is the motherfucker that will do anything in his power to slaughter you if you come near those who he loves. If anyone he even remotely cares about is hurt by you, he will wreck you. He's the only motherfucker to try and fight back when everybody else gives in. Take this, for instance. Negan was wrecking his home with grenades and bullets. Carl gets everybody into cover, and then waited for a pause in fire to jump up, and attempt to kill his attacker. He was pretty damn close, too. Nobody else even tried.
No matter what you say, the television show has ruined Carl's image, and now Carl is the motherfucker that you have to tie down to a chair o… morer he'll go off and almost die. So no matter how good he was in the comics, myself and millions of others will still think of him as a giant asshole to his father and a stupid, untrustworthy son of a bitch.
Yeah, but the thing is, whenever I see something idealistic like Carley romancing Lee and thus being a potential love interest for the futur… moree, or Christa and Omid being the loving foster parents of Clementine... well, you could see that neither of those two idealistic situations turned out too well in the end.
If Clementine were to become pregnant because of an act of pedophilia, as some of the other comments I've read seem to suggest, I'd probably stop playing the game all together.
That whole idea is completely sick!
If, however, she's an adult, that's another story.
There's nothing wrong with her becoming pregnant as an adult.
And as a side note, if Clementine as an adult, were to hook up with Luke, I don't see a big problem.
By the time Clementine is in her early 20's, which would make her a legal adult, Luke would be in his mid to late 30's.
Granted she'd be much younger than Luke even then, but there would be nothing inappropriate about their relationship, as both would be adults.
Not only do I think it'd be weird to play as a pregnant woman OR pregnant teenager, but it's just weird to think about that innocent little girl we knew sleeping with someone in order to make that pregnancy possible. No one is good enough for my Clem either way.
That's a dark yet valid point. I doubt TTG would go down that road, but that would hit the player hard if it did happen. Imagine button mashing in an attempt to escape, and the game forces you to watch on and needlessly button mash. God, that'd be grim.
