Favorite Location?

Mine would have to be the Moonstar Lodge. The snow, the mountains, just perfect....

  • From S1, S2 or both?

The 400 days crossroad, a.k.a. Gil's Pitstop. I just like it there. I have a feeling Carver's camp might become a new favorite, though.

  • Yeah, Moonstar probably.

    Still love this shot here.

  • the st. john dairy was actually nice. Like Carly says, "you would never know the rest of the world was in ruins". Plus, the electric fence was helpful. Season 2, i love cabins in real life so i'll go with that.

  • Motor inn. Wasnt perfect but it was safe there for the most part

  • The Gas Station

  • Yeah, I get a nostalgic feeling toward that dump for some reason. It sucked but it was a home.

  • Definitely the lodge. Reminds me of the PA Poconos. Great hiking and such a pretty place. <3

  • The Moonstar Lodge; it's a strategic position with a lookout tower, and electricity. Though, I would have to board the hell out of the windows.

  • This is a good shot. You got to give it to Telltale Games for making their own form of game graphics.

Yeah, Moonstar probably. Still love this shot here.

  • I really liked the marsh house for some reason. It felt really peaceful walking through those silent corridors.

  • I don't mean to sound like a know-it-all, but TellTale is really experienced when it comes to artistic interepretation. They have done this before; mostly with established written media. Puzzle Agent, Sam & Max, and The Walking Dead to name a few. All of these already have a well-established art style. I think what makes TellTale so captivating is their ability to translate from stationary, to ones and zeroes, to a faithful rendition of the source material; all while putting a creative spin on it. The Walking Dead took more of the tone from the comics rather than the graphic novels' style. They crafted an unforgettable experience with a unique flair is basically what I'm saying here. So, yeah, TellTale rocks.

  • The train of pain!

  • As twisted as the St. Jones were, I felt a really serene feeling walking into their farm. Another of Telltale's amazing effort to incorporate the proper atmosphere. I wouldn't have minded staying there if it wasn't for the cannibals.

  • I'm not sure about favorite, but I really liked the Cabin from what we've seen of it.

Like Carver said, "Well this is a real nice place. Kinda cozy."

  • The Motor Inn, Gil's Pitstop, the mansion from Episode 4 & 5 and I rather liked the lodge in Episode 2 of Season Two. Wish we could've explored it more.

I really liked the train for some reason (after the Katjaa-Duck incident). It had one of the darker moods of season one, but also had a calm before the storm type of feeling as well.. as it was talking us to Savannah where we all knew something was probably going to go down. I feel like the conversation with every character on board was very deep. (Chuck's wise advice, Kenny's grief, Ben's guilt, Clem's hopefulness to find her parents, as well as cutting her hair and teaching her how to protect herself).

  • You from PA? So am I!

  • Wilkesbarre

  • A tie between the train and Marsh House.

  • Savannah, specifically the whole area where we discover the Crawford barricade. I love the silent, almost calm, but foreboding atmosphere throughout that area because of all the mystery surrounding it. The fogginess, the bells ringing, the presence of the Stranger, all the automobiles mysteriously stripped clean, the military tags on the doors, and finally the barricade itself. It gives me a Silent Hill feel, where most of the fear is in what you don't understand or can't see, and there's just this whole feeling that something terrible has happened before you even arrived and the danger is still present.

As for the physical location, I just love the water's edge for some reason. Whenever I go to the beach or go fishing, I just love occasionally sitting there or taking a walk along a harbor, watching boats go by. Plus, as George Carlin pointed out, the best part of being at water's edge is you only have assholes on three sides of you, and if they come in from the water, you can hear them splash, which was basically Lee's logic for staying safe from walkers as well. :P

  • Savannah, the mysterious atmosphere it had made it even scarier. It was like Silent hill with walkers in it.

  • Meat locker.

Naah, just kidding. The motor inn. I don't know why, maybe cause it was first safe place where the group lived...

  • That was my lock screen for a long while.

Yeah, Moonstar probably. Still love this shot here.

  • the lodge is fantastic, but the train was my favourite, all the atmosphere with everything going on,a moving train, excellent!, most of Savannah was awesome too,......i just had a thought,it would be cool to make a papercraft of some locations with cut out characters.

  • I always thought the motor inn was totally unsafe
