woah woah guys chill out, please ? for Clem? as much as I don't like the idea of Luke disappearing does not mean I am going to go to a fight for a fictional character. I want both of them alive so that they will bicker at each other and stick to Clem. MustacheKing has his own opinion and again I am not going to fight for a fictional character. Also why do you want to have Kenney kill Luke? he already has controversial killing with Larry! really for his sake I hope he doesn't do anything like that again.
I kinda like Luke, sure his "introduction" wasn't the best with how he drops you on the floor and all but he more than makes up for it after… more that, and you can feel his guilt throughout the game (like when Clem says "I've done that before, you know, in a shed ?" look at his face).
I just fear that the game will force me to choose between him and Kenny, and that'd break me as I love the both of them, just hope they'll manage to get along somehow.
I don't know how feel about Luke, he seems nice enough, but I don't know. It'll be interesting to see him in the next episode and maybe we can find out more about who he is and if we can truly trust him. But other than that I'm pretty indifferent about the situation.
Seriously though, Please disregard my hate comments on Kenny, Kenny is an amazing character, He lost his family, his wife, and his son Duck.I'd would have done the same as Katjaa did if that happened to me. But seriously, Is Kenny the ONLY reason you play TWD?
I actually quite like Luke and I wouldn't be ok with Kenny killing him even if I didn't like Luke. I hated Larry but I hated Kenny for just giving the excuse that he had to kill him.
I don't know abot you guy, even if i don't actually like Luke much
But how fucking hollow, nonsensical, and plain stupid Lukes story arc would it be from devs if in the next episode Kenny just says "Oh yeah btw, i killed that guy".
It would be lazyest story telling from any of TT games ever. So no, im not disappointed and i knew all the time he's not gone into a plothole of stupidity.
It would be worth it though. We get to kill the annoying Luke and give Kenny more character development. With Luke dead, Kenny can be the deuteragonist for season 2 and the protagonist for season 3. There is no TWD without Kenny.

You really have no reason to hate Luke. He literally did nothing against Clem. It's pretty much the same as saying you wanted Pete to die when he was nothing but good to you.
Tried to keep the fact the Nick shot Matthew under wraps
Took a hike instead of helping Kenny deal with Carver (I know, it couldn't have worked out even if Luke wasn't on his hike)
As for Kenny...
Saved my Lee's life in the drugstore
Saved Lee, Clementine and Lilly's life in the Meat Locker by making sure Larry didn't turn (He could've been alive, but I think the mouth movement was him either reanimating or just because Lee was pounding on his chest)
Saved my Lee's life by attacking Danny
Saved my Lee's life by lifting the door up
Went with my Lee without hesitation to find Clem
He tried to save a kid that indirectly killed his family
Tried to save the group from Carver all by himself
I will change my opinion about Luke if he does something great in Episode 3.

I posted this on another thread, but I think this post is a perfect counterargument to yours.
Luke has done a lot for Clem. Here's a list of what he's done for her in ONLY two episodes.
Saved her life in the forest. If it wasn't for him and Pete, then Clementine would've been eaten alive.
Defended her from the group and apologized when he failed because he was outnumbered.
Convinced the group to let Clementine out of the shed. Remember when Luke opened the shed after the walker attacked? Well if you listened to the kitchen conversation, he was arguing that they let Clem go and apologize for being assholes.
Made Nick apologize for almost shooting Clem and and being "aggro."
Fed her and took the time to listen to her story and sympathize with her. I believe it was best for Clem to talk about her trauma rather than repress it.
Went out to look for Clem when she went missing. Remember when Rebecca said that she tried to convince Luke to not go look for her, but he couldn't leave her out there.
Luke shows a protective nature towards Clementine, evident when he shields her from the bullet during Nick's and Matthew's confrontation, and again when she nearly slips climbing the ladder with Luke being ready to catch her.
He's giving her first hand experience by giving her tasks while still being there for support. For example, when he told Clem to climb the tower so she can see if anyone was following them. He said he would catch her if she fell and tried to get her mind off of the fear of falling by telling something about himself. Remember when Clem almost fell? He was worried about Clem and was ready to catch her. Kind of like when a kid first starts riding a bike and a parent is right behind them so they can catch them if they just so happen to fall.

Some good counter arguments there, and I can agree with most of them to a point. However...
We don't know if Luke was the one to suggest saving Clementine, and since Pete sort of acts as a moral compass to the group, I'm betting he was the one to come up with the idea.
I appealed to Alvin, so three people supported Clem while three opposed, so that makes it a moot point, really.
Nick was actually the one to suggest to fix her arm and then apologize for being assholes. (Turns out I was wrong, for the longest time I thought it was Nick saying that for some odd reason)
True, although Luke did give him a glare, Nick was the one to sit down and apologize.
I agree with that, it was one of the goods things that Luke did for Clem, and a good moment in TWD history.
Once again, we don't know who suggested to go first. This time since Luke had time to know Clem, it might've been him to suggest to go, but it might've been Alvin because he trusted my Clem from the get-go.
Since the cabin group grew on Clem and the player during Episode 2, I reckon just about anyone from the group would do that, and when Clementine almost slipped from the ladder, Luke ran off to go confront the Moonstar Lodge group, which I can understand though.
I guess that kind of goes back to my previous point, but still, point made nonetheless.
Luke is one of the best of the Cabin Group, but I still think he is a bit too scared and cowardly to look after Clem.

He didn't throw her to the ground, stop being dramatic. He dropped her out of surprise. I mean, Jesus Christ, you're acting like he killed someone or something like that. For God's sake, he SAVED YOUR LIFE!
He didn't lock her in the shed, he wasn't even FOR it. Nick was the one who put her in at gun point. Why the hell is Luke blamed when he tried to DEFEND her!
Yeah, and for good REASON. He was trying to protect Nick, and Walter was willing to let Nick die.
We have no idea what happened. He is probably being smart: Luke is your only hope for rescue at this point. You should be happy he avoided capture.

Who saved her life from the walker that was about to eat her alive? Luke did. Doesn't matter who's idea it was. Luke saved her from ACTUALLY getting bitten.
I appealed to Alvin, so three people supported Clem while three opposed, so that makes it a moot point, really.
Were Alvin and Pete against killing Clem? Sure, but they were not against putting her in the shed. Luke was the only one who opposed the idea of putting Clem in the shed and fought for her t'll the end.
Nick was actually the one to suggest to fix her arm and then apologize for being assholes.
Watch this video and you'll see that Luke stuck up for Clem when no one else would. Even Pete said to leave Clem in the shed until the morning while Luke wanted her out of the shed NOW. Btw Luke was the one to say that not Nick, but if you watched it then you should know.
True, although Luke did give him a glare, Nick was the one to sit down and apologize.
Remember that Luke pushes Nick to do stuff that he doesn't want to do. Nick was angry that it wasn't a lurker bite and Luke went after him. If you deny his apology, he gets pissed in the "I knew I shouldn't have apologized" kind of way and Luke feels bad and tries to get Clem to forgive him.
I agree with that, it was one of the goods things that Luke did for Clem, and a good moment in TWD history.
Agreed.
Once again, we don't know who suggested to go first. This time since Luke had time to know Clem, it might've been him to suggest to go, but it might've been Alvin because he trusted my Clem from the get-go.
Did your Alvin also pussy out when confronted by his wife when he had the opportunity to defend Clem when she needed him the most? Although he gave her bandages after you persuade him enough. Rebecca was trying to convince Luke not to go because Luke is stubborn. Rebecca could have easily convinced Alvin not to go if it was his idea, but Luke pushed Alvin to go with him since he's easily persuaded.
Since the cabin group grew on Clem and the player during Episode 2, I reckon just about anyone from the group would do that, and when Clementine almost slipped from the ladder, Luke ran off to go confront the Moonstar Lodge group, which I can understand though.
No one would have done what Luke has done for Clem because they have their own families to worry about. If it came down to it, they would rather be alive for their family then risk their life for Clementine just like Luke did. Luke has nothing to lose, but Clementine so that makes him perfect. Have you ever thought that it was better to leave Clem up there instead of bringing her to where guns are being pointed at each other?
Luke is one of the best of the Cabin Group, but I still think he is a bit too scared and cowardly to look after Clem.
Luke is not too scared and cowardly. He has killed walkers with ease just like when he killed those walkers in front of the shed to get to Nick. Went out to look for Clem when she was missing out in the forest. Luke was ready to use himself as a human shield to protect Clem when a shot was fired during the Nick and Matthew confrontation.
Some good counter arguments there, and I can agree with most of them to a point. However...

To be honest, i love Nick more than Luke, but, hey. AT LEAST I DON'T WANT LUKE TO FUCKING DIE. BECAUSE I WANT TO BELIEVE IN THIS ONE DREAM OF MINE THAT I WILL NOT SHARE WITH YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE MEAN TO LUKE.
Heh, It's fine. But what I meant by too scared and cowardly was that Kenny is (in my opinion) a better guardian than Luke, because we know what drastic measures he will take to protect his family, and we know that Kenny most likely does think of Clementine as family, referenced when he called her Duck.
I'm just a little on the "Cabin Group is hiding something" side right now because one of the major themes of this season is trust, and I feel like I could trust Kenny more than Luke because I actually know him.
Edit: Shit, I always thought Nick was the one that says "We apologize for being assholes. Then we fix her arm."

Dragonleaf! No offense, but come on man! Clem was attacked within ten seconds: What makes you think they even had time to argue- no, even THINK about it? Luke made no regrets and no arguments.
That isn't on Luke. He tried his best to defend Clem. What else was he to do?
Luke had no idea how Walter would react. You saw how he was. He was on the verge of a complete breakdown. Luke's concerns were valid and understandable.
What difference does it make? He was smart NOT to get captured.
I have a feeling that since Pete acts as a de-facto leader of the group and sort of a moral compass, he was the one with the idea to save he… morer.
He wasn't for it, hell in my save half the cabin group wasn't for it. But they still did.
All Clementine had to do to save Nick was put a good word in for him, Luke was overreacting.
Still, until he saves the group effectively I'm saying he did it out of fear/cowardice.

I do agree with you on that. We can definitely trust Kenny more than Luke, but both have their faults. Luke on one hand, we don't know much about him and we don't know if we can trust him. Kenny on the other hand, is reckless, hotheaded, and unpredictable. Here's an example of this:
I went out to look for Kenny when Carver caught the group. Kenny asked Clem "do you think we can take 'em?" My Clem responded "Don't he'll kill them!" because my reasoning was that we should devise a plan instead of just start shooting. You know what he did? He ignored Clem and shot anyways. That's why he's reckless and hotheaded because he doesn't listen to reason which led to Walter's death and maybe Alvin's. His unpredictability comes in when he asks me what we should do AGAIN and I say "DON'T SHOOT!" You know what Kenny does? He listens. He's so unprectdiable sometimes. Kenny even dragged Clem into it by saying "We're coming out." Why did he have to say "we're" instead of "I'm coming out?" Carver didn't know that Clem was with Kenny and yet Kenny makes Clem go with him.
It's kind of funny really. Luke leaves Clem when there's danger which is not as bad as it sounds because he's trying to not get Clementine killed while Kenny won't let Clem leave his side when there's danger. For example, like it or not, but if I'm surrendering then you're coming with me.
Heh, It's fine. I like Luke and I don't really see why people hate him and want him gone. I mean, beside that one time where he dropped Clementine due to the dog bite, there really isn't any reason of hating him.
I don't have much resentment towards him nor do I feel any emotional attachment. He comes off to me as more like a "Meh, he's okay" kind of guy, though the mediocrity might be due to the inevitable comparison between him and Lee.

NOPE! Without Kenny, there is no TWD!
Season 2 Episode 1.
Was one of the worst episodes in TWD because Kenny wasn't in it.
400 Days.
I know what I'd do... Heheheh... Sorry, Ken.
I like Luke, Luke is a good man but "Is Nick a good guy?" (Walter Ep2 - Ep2)
Fuck off man. Bullshit discussion.
Coward? WTF?

Technically, he made a rather short cameo in the opening. It showed when Duck was attacked at Gil's pittstop.

Fun Fact, Kenny has appeared in more episodes than any other character.
He appeared in all of the episodes in S1, a cameo in 400 Days, the drawing in S2EP1, and finally made his debut again in S2EP2!
You really have no reason to hate Luke. He literally did nothing against Clem. It's pretty much the same as saying you wanted Pete to die when he was nothing but good to you.

Whaat? My top 4 favorite TWD characters would have to be Lee, Clementine Kenny and Doug
Aren't the tv show and comics super-popular though?

Have you ever thought that it was better to leave Clem up there instead of bringing her to where guns are being pointed at each other?
Luke is not too scared and cowardly. He has killed walkers with ease just like when he killed those walkers in front of the shed to get to Nick. Went out to look for Clem when she was missing out in the forest. Luke was ready to use himself as a human shield to protect Clem when a shot was fired during the Nick and Matthew confrontation.
Sorry that my post is a little long. :P
Okay, so i see this thread.
I'm not here to give my opinion or anything, you know.
Oh, no.
I'M HERE TO FUCK YOUR SHIT UP, DUDE
How dare you not like Luke.
How.
Dare.
You.
No one is going to win this argument!
Just hug already guys
Love and be loved!
Harsh, but take my like.
I tell it how it is, when i can.
28 downvotes for express an opinion?. Gonna balance this a little. Upvote for you!.
Can't believe this.
