Lilly got left behind at the Motor Inn? That would prevent the death of Carley/Doug.

    Carley/Doug probably would've died later on, or would've been left behind with Omid and Christa. That would've put Clem in a more stable position in Season 2.

    Y'know, in Episode 5 when Lee goes down to fight the herd. Christa and Omid are left on the roof of that building.
