before you start hating read this
hear me out, okay? He saved clem's life twice. If he would of walked on by and told pete it wasnt worth it when clem were constantly passing out becaus of the dog bite clem could have died. Two he made clem duck when nick shot matthew which it could have easily accidently hit clem's head.
He defended clem most people didnt realize he defended clem. He told carlos "shes in bad shape carlos" 2) he was trying to get the group to trust clem, when you were stealing supplies and they had that meeting he was talking good things about clem. 3) he went out looking for clem when pete got bit/ate cuz rebecca says, "Luke and alvin went out looking for you. I told them not to go!" he was worried and left to look for clem. if he didnt care he could of left clem to die but he didnt.
he hasnt said a mean thing to clem name one rude thing he's said to clem
he may be hiding something even if he is hiding something who sits there and randonly said, "oh btw im carvers son" or " i killed 30 dogs yesterday" no one should hang out to the pst. It's done and over. if clem asked him about his past then he probaly would tell clem but she hasnt asked.

People aren't hard enough on Luke.
A lot of people seem to hate him, like him or just be plain indifferent to him. It does seem like most people hate him and I really don't understand why. I like Luke and he really hasn't done anything wrong in my perspective. Maybe it's because I like almost everyone I meet (unless they're rude or mean spirited towards me) but he really hasn't done anything terribly awful especially towards Clementine (unless you count the time he dropped her and stuff but his actions were totally reasonable).
I don't hate him, I'm just critical of his behavior. Maybe it's because I stick to the tumblr fandom more, but it feels like the overwhelming majority loves Luke and blindly defends him and thinks you're just bonkers to not be in love with him.
