I feel the same way about Kenny's crimes, but unfortunately the game hasn't given us the option to tell everyone the things he has done (although we can tell Luke that we never liked Kenny).

Thus, it's unlikely you'll be able to try and sabotage her life.

I'm not a Lilly fan but I hope she returns so she can answer for her crimes. She killed Carley and stole the RV... if I bump into her I would do my best to turn everyone against her.

  • Well, it essentially becomes Lilly's when she is an asshole and steals it, doesn;t it?

He didn't look very closely at the icon for the achievement, it seems. The front grill is much bigger than the RV's. And what about that truck that Clem and Pete hide in at the beginning of episode 2? Also, "Lilly's RV"? I thought it was Kenny's?

  • That actually makes sense. Sarita found him in a holed up restaurant, they then traveled and found Walter/Matthew, makes sense and isn't as coincidental as Lilly being at the camp

You mean like Kenny co-incidentally being in a location clem runs across?

  • Haha! Yeah, could always do that for more likes too....

Okay, and why can't Lilly's return 'make sense'? Why can't Tavia have found her starving on the side of the road somewhere? We already know that Tavia has traveled around a lot picking up survivors.

You don't seem to be playing Telltale's games with an open mind. If they bring back Kenny from the situation he was in, they can most definitely bring back Lilly.

I think Kenny would disagree, but I'm still left wondering what happened to her despite what she did to Carley. I really want to know if my forgiving Lilly has a major impact or not.

What are the odds.....Caver would keep Lilly at his camp.....or finding her, without killing her?

  • I don't think it's the same RV. If you took Lilly with you and she got away later at the train, on picking the right dialogue, Kenny says something like she won't get far because of the RV's engine [I forgot the exact lines]. So it could be any old truck that belongs to Carver's men that'll be used to transport the whole group back to the camp.

Although, I hope that we do see Lilly. By how she was in season 1, she'd definitely go to another group or some community if she trusted them, where as someone like Molly might not given her experience at Crawford. I don't think everyone at Carver's camp will be corrupt like him, so there is a chance Lilly could be there.

Or maybe she's at Wellington, waiting for Kenny to arrive so she can punch in the face for killing her daddy o.o

What are the odds Kenny would escape from a seemingly impossible situation and be found on the brink of death just in time?

No she didn't. She said she wasn't called in yet, and she isn't allowed to confirm that. That was way back in episode 2 while it was still in production.

  • Kenny disagrees with pretty much anything which doesn't favour him :p

  • Brink of death? Sarita said she found him with a loooong beard, which takes what, longer than a month to grow? I doubt it took him a month to escape the herd

Just one of the reasons I came to dislike Kenny over the course of season one. I was very intrigued by Clem's mention of Lilly to Alvin when searching Matthew's shelter, so I'm hoping that foreshadowing was really foreshadowing.

It was also great that TTG gave the option to say that you never liked Kenny, that he "lost it a little" after what happened to his family, and that he drinks. Thankfully they didn't forget to present a fair assessment of things based on Clem's first hand experience.

  • I'm thinking after what she did to Carley she may see being abandoned/stealing the RV as a chance to redeem herself with a different group that doesn't know anything about her except her intentions. Unfortunately, if she ran into Carver, he'd see her desperation as a very convenient tool for use in his own plans.

Actually, it's more about the tired resignation that comes with having to explain AGAIN and AGAIN how Kenny's survival was perfectly feasible, only to be ignored for the umpteenth time.

And please...enough with the "Kenny's arc is done" talk. I doubt a lot of people here even understand what the word "arc" is supposed to mean. I've heard it so many damn times, I'm convinced all the fans who were dead-set against Kenny's comeback are simply parroting each other. We've yet to see where Telltale will go (or rather, where Tellale will ALLOW the player to go) with Kenny. After the season ends, then you'll be entitled to argue about how much Kenny's return was a bad idea.

  • Lilly's end set her up perfectly for a return, more so than Kenny's exit. There is no way her story is over if Kenny's isn't.

  • To be fair, they couldn't really bring back anyone else if they wanted any way to make Season 1's choices matter beyond a few unimportant dialogue options. Kenny was the only person besides Clem who was present for the entirety of Season 1 and saw almost all of the choices Lee made. You can at least find reassurance in the fact that he's probably going to die this Season.

  • It would be a nice twist if Lilly came back and she and Kenny worked together instead of fighting. We'd all expect some kind of showdown between them. I'd be interested in seeing it play out differently.

  • Yep, Carver is very sly that way. And that worries me that if Lilly is indeed there and she sees Kenny likes Sarita after he killed her dad like that...BOOM! T.T definitely no more Sarita.

Why wait until the end of the season to voice our opinions on his return being idiotic when it can be said now? After all it isn't that they brought him back and are going to continue his story, it's that they have brought him back in the first place. Seeing as the sin has been committed now why not talk about it now?

Also, a secondary unrelated topic to the conversation you responded to, your explanation for his survival doesn't fall on deaf ears... it just doesn't make sense.

I never ever said that he escape was unfeasible.

Hence I'm not ignoring any such thing: his escape was perfectly feasible, but it cannot be denied that a description of how he did manage to escape would be nice intead of just saying 'I got lucky'

And absolutely, his season 2 arc could well go anywhere, I am merely stating that I think his sacrifice would have been a fitting end to his arc. Who knows, maybe when his arc comes to a close in season 2, I'll think that one was better.

However, that does not prevent me from saying that, as things stand, in my opinion his arc had ended well. And I feel that the return of the character specifically was a shame when other characters have had much less screentime, characters who DIDN'T have a satisfying close to their arc.

I'm not really sure what you're arguing against, because I agree with everything you're saying.

But his escape being possible does not mean that it wouldn't be nice to hear about how it actually happened.

  • I also commend Telltale a hell of a lot for, while still making a character return whom lots of people loved, still giving the option of saying that you didn't like him to the large proportion who didn't.

To be fair, it doesn't really make much sense for Clem to specifically like him anyway, as the two barely ever (if ever at all) interact before season 2. In fact in my game he refused to help find her, so I know where my clem stands.

I take reassurance with that as well. Even though I was one of the people who wanted him back, I want to see him make his exit this Season. There IS such a thing as too much Kenny. I suppose you and I just have different values for what "too much" means.

  • If they hadn't made his ending so perfect last season I'd have welcomed him with open arms (temporarily).

I do hope they give him a proper going away this season, though. Exciting, meaningful, sad, and not ambiguous.

Technically, the majority of the time the group spent together was off-screen during the months at the hotel. It's also when Lily gave Clem the hair things which otherwise, we would have said they never interacted.

I mean ,she doesn't shoot lee in episode 1 if he calls her a bitch: clearly her shooting carley has more to do with her fragile mental state after her dad was murdered and everyone in the group apart from lee thinks she's crazy.
