Im pretty sure It'd be harder to see her spirit crushed than her physically abused. Shes gotten bitten by a dog and turned out fine, she was… moren't even worried about the scar.
Other than a mutilation of a limb, i can't think of anything physically worse than that. And since none of the achievements hint rape i think a beat down wont affect clemmy
he has already hit clem(depending on what you pick)
what makes you think he wont do it again? he is bad. im not saying i know he will hit her again. im just saying under the worst circumstances i think he would.
There's no way to justify who Carver is. He is a bad man who thinks he is doing good. He killed an innocent man and you act like he wouldn't hit Clem a second time?
I do think that Carver might have injured Kenny by shooting him in the leg or somewhere, because after Carver hits Kenny with the back of his Revolver then it zooms onto Clementine's face then there is a flash of light.
Im not worried about Ken getting beat up though, He survived a gunshot so Im sure he can handle it.
HOWEVER, People think Carver shoots Kenny in the Trailer or Episode 3 and you see the " Witnessed a murder " achievement.
What if Adam is there. (The Stranger's son) Stranger said he was lost, he wasn't dead and Tavia had the exact same Walkie Talkie/Radio as The Stranger, so it is a little possibility but most likely it isn't true.
sorry but i dissagree with you Cart_hero_2010... in the eye it shows someone holding what appears to be a walkie talkie. and before this ach… moreievement a hand is grabing walkie talkes(clem steals them) aka:larceny
so i think clem tries to steal them, but in the process gets spotted doing so {explains the eye because someone saw her doing it}
and then she gets beaten up for committing larceny.

I don't want to think about it poor Clem if Carver or anyone lays a hand on her any decision about their death would be made any chance to physically hurt them will be taken advantage of lol
Haha I know, everyone beat his ass in season 1. Lee, Molly, Larry, Andy St John with a gun, Goddamn 50 year old cancer patients, probably a couple more. My point being though is that he could fight back better than Clem, and a ruthless beating that would hurt him pretty badly would most likely just kill her, which is why I think it'd be somewhat better for him to get attacked rather than her.
Plus, looking at it on the bright side, it'd be another addition to the, "people who have beat Kenny's ass," achievement book. Not a very amazing achievement though, considering how easy it is.
Well, let's just say if she does, I'm going to go Samuel L Jackson on the people who did it, "I'm tired of you motherfucking people, beating up a motherfucking girl!" (Snakes on A Plane reference) In all seriousness, though I want to have the ability to win the fight, similar to when Molly jumps Lee the first time they meet.
Well it looks like Carver in that eye icon for 'got beaten down' and that he's holding something. There was the pair of walkie-talkies in another achievement that had a hand reaching for them, so he could've found out Clementine took the walkie-talkies to plan something and beat the crap out of her for answers.
Carver: TELL ME!
Clementine: I, yes I think might, ye-
Carver: How'd it get burned? HOW'D IT GET BURNED!?
A little girl in a world full of lawless men? Sure, some violence against Clem is possible. But i dont think telltale will go there. Its a little too salacious for a video game.
What if Adam is there. (The Stranger's son) Stranger said he was lost, he wasn't dead and Tavia had the exact same Walkie Talkie/Radio as The Stranger, so it is a little possibility but most likely it isn't true.
You dont think an eleven year girl getting beaten up would affect her? Unless she gets into a fight with another kid, I cant see her not being affected. There's lots they can do to crush her will if she's there long enough. Just watching her friends die one after the other and not being able to do anything about it would have a profound affect on her.

Well the achievement says "Gave what you got" maybe Clem gets some revenge with a crowbar. I am on my knees begging telltale, don't let Clem get beaten!
Yeah, it'll probably be determined by what you choose to say and not as a result of a quicktime event. I'm more curious about the bloody crowbar, though. Who gets a piece of that steel?

I'm so worried about this achievement. TTG has pushed the limits on a lot of things, and they're done it very well in my opinion, but I don't know if I could handle Clementine getting beaten. I can't think of any scenario that doesn't make my stomach turn.
I guess the only consolation would be to get revenge in the "Rehabilitated" achievement, if that's what we get to do.
I don't care what the achievement status says. I do not believe for one minute that telltale will depict an eleven year old girl getting beaten up.
That would be crossing the line and definitely out of bounds.
If they do, then I can see many stopping playing this game.
I for one believe that telltale are better than that and hope to be proved correct when the episode is finally released. They don't need to stoop that low. Telltale have the ability, creativeness and talent to not go down that road.
There are still people convinced that Carver isn't a bad guy despite the fact that he brutally murders two(determinant) people and tortures Carlos. Rebecca clearly doesn't like him so I'm guessing that he raped her or she would've stayed. Carver could beat the shit out of Kenny and people will still defend him.
The best way for a villain to be hated is for him to do something so despicable that there is no ambiguity, beating up Clementine until her spirit breaks would be pretty good. He will probably insist that it's for her own good too.
Carver strikes me as Telltale's interpretation of the Governor (Comic books, not the TV). The Governor in the comics acted like this too, charismatic but was really a creepy psychopath.

yaaa. you dont know what telltale is capable of....
but it would still suck. and she would have trust issues i think. and make her into her episode 4 picture. or my profile picture.

(In the trailer)
Tenmile, do you remember Kenny fighting in Season 1?
He got beaten up by cancer patients for god's sake!
What if Adam is there. (The Stranger's son) Stranger said he was lost, he wasn't dead and Tavia had the exact same Walkie Talkie/Radio as The Stranger, so it is a little possibility but most likely it isn't true.
Clem_TWDG as much as id hate it to happen, i agree with your statment.
he didn't get beaten up by them, most people believe that but if i'm correct someone says they had guns with them
i wish i never saw this comment.
I don't want to think about it poor Clem if Carver or anyone lays a hand on her any decision about their death would be made any chance to physically hurt them will be taken advantage of lol

I pray I'm wrong, I'm worried for little Clem ;_;
Again I know he can do it but I think he would want to get inside her head first
Hey I don't like it either, but this is a thing I fear telltale might do
So... much... golden...

i didnt notice that. but it could happen
true.
you right you right.

Good point.
Your name sir, made my day.
Let's hope not.

getting punched in the face and in the gut and possibly with a crowbar. i think THAT WOULD AFFECT AND ELEVEN YEAR OLD GIRL.

Am I the only one that tries not to get too close to the characters this second season? Because we lost like everything in the first?
