And I feel that the return of the character specifically was a shame when other characters have had much less screentime, characters who DID… moreN'T have a satisfying close to their arc.
The new cast had their shot in episode 1, but Telltale unfortunately made the error of introducing most of them as hysterical brutes. You might complain that Kenny's return was unfair to season 2's characters, but the fact is, NONE of them have nearly as much impact as their predecessors.
"But that's because they haven't been given a chance," you say. Really? If the original survivor group in season 1 were a bunch of trigger-happy idiots who fired a couple of bullets in Lee's direction because they mistook his black skin for charred flesh (and in their first scene with him, no less), would you be just as ready to argue they hadn't been given a chance?
Yep, Carver is very sly that way. And that worries me that if Lilly is indeed there and she sees Kenny likes Sarita after he killed her dad like that...BOOM! T.T definitely no more Sarita.
Having her be completely psychotic wouldn't work. They would have kicked her out if she were too much of a burden. But I do see her as being Carver's second in command and a total power hungry bitch to anyone and everyone beneath her station.
On the one hand: having both Lily AND Kenny reappear would be some soap-opera levels of writing and would break immersion for me.
Wo… morerd travels faster in the zombie apocalypse than you think. Clem and Christa were heading towards Wellington when season 2 began based strictly on what Christa heard second-hand, and considering how ruthlessly practical Christa is, I doubt she'd hedge her bets on a mere rumour.
The same applies to Lilly. If the security of Carver's compound has gained a name for itself (whether it's a famous or infamous name remains to be seen), a hardcore survivalist like Lilly would be drawn to such a place. If she's completely psychotic by this point, it would make even MORE sense.
OMG WILL YOU MORONS JUST LET IT GO!!!! Lillys character was at first the same lilly from the comics meaning telltale NEVER INTENDED TO USE HER AFTER EPISODE 3 SEASON 1! Jesus what do you idiosas not get about that?
She killed Carley just like that [or went to shoot Ben before Doug got in the way]. She's lost her dad and she has nothing left. If she ever got bitter enough about it and was pushed to her limits with Kenny being Kenny, Lilly could do it
I agree, if pushed. It's just that she kept the violence back for a while between Ep2 and 3 and didn't touch Katjaa, so I think she'd only do something now if Kenny truly pushed her like you say. Hopefully not though :P I like Sarita and it'd mean either Kenny or Lilly being killed for it, I like both ;/

I don't see her shooting kids though o_O

They really aren't that bad. That kind of mistake is in lots of zombie apocalypse fiction, it makes sense
Because Carver recruits, not massacres each group. Or his group wouldn't be a group
Eh, she never hurt Katjaa, Duck or Clem for that, why would she actually hurt Sarita?
Eh why not? They're different enough
Good points.

Actually, Gavin Hammon said that Lilly was originally meant to show up again with the RV later in the game. Sooo...
"Group"

I like Sarita too, she seems like a nice lady. I hope we get to see a bit more of her in episode 3 T.T and she makes it through.
There weren't hundreds, maybe not even 40. And they came from both sides.
I exaggerated a little, but there were a shit ton. Enough so that there was no way in hell he could push through them all.
