Radio/ Where is Luke? THEORY

edited April 2014 in The Walking Dead

So the other day, I was thinking about what happened to Luke and I came up with an idea:

I think that Luke was probably telling Kenny that they had to get out and fight another day and Kenny wanted nothing to do with it. So either Kenny perhaps knocked him out or Luke literally just walked off out of frustration. Luke then walked back to the small house by the bridge thinking that there was food to camp out there before he made a plan (or maybe even pull off a plan that Carlos and Luke planned) . Remember:

  • Luke never went into the house.
  • He probably doesn't know that there was hardly any food left (1 can)
  • And Alvin said he would not tell anyone about giving Rebecca the only can of food.

After finding no food he finds the radio and he will obviously need to find batteries. I am interested in the radio because that be crucial to Clem making contact to anyone outside the camp. I think there might even be a possibility that Matthew was maybe getting food from Carver.

  • Same radios (might just be a placeholder)
  • I found it interesting that the Ski lodge group had so much food after however long they've been their with 4 people.
  • Also Matthew was the one who was staying in the small house (perhaps he got food there) which means only he would know what the people (or person) in Carver's camp looked like and he obviously died.
*Not to mention, like Walter, Matthew trusts people perhaps a little too much.

*Disclaimer: This is only thinking that maybe Matthew was even in contact with Carver's camp.

Good point, if that radio is workable it could be key to any kind of rescue, or meeting groups Luke or Clem could persuade or manipulate to help, for a price or just enemies of Carver and his group

  • Good theory. I hope Luke didn't just walk away out of fear. It'd completely ruin his character for me. He better damn well have had a good reason to leave.

  • He is confirmed to appear in episode 3, so at least crazy ass hobo Kenny didn't kill him.

I just hope that he doesn't turn out to be a traitor..

  • Seems like that's just a twist for the sake of a twist. But idk.

  • That radio theory makes sense. There's a trophy for Episode 3 that shows a hand grabbing a pair of walkie talkies. The detail for it is called "Committed larceny" or something like that.
