What seems more right for Clems character.

What Clem did you all play through with? Sassy Clem, Kind Clem, or Silent Clem. I know the game is molded by the players but which one seems more appropriate for Clementine based upon what shes gone through? I feel silent Clem fits fairly well.

  • I play Kind Clem, there's really no reason for me to start trouble but I will destroy you if provoked.

I played a mixture of sassy and kind Clem. I don't know, it's just too hard to resist the urge to be sassy.

About which fits Clem more... I'd say that's entirely up to you and how would you act if you were in her place. In my case, I'd probably be silent. For the most part at least.

  • Ye i either play kind or silent clem. Can't play a serious play-through with her being sassy or mean. Just doesn't seem right to me

I play a Clem who is clearly hardened, but is still relatively nice and follows what my Lee taught her well. She's still held onto some of his hope.

I kind of end up playing a mix of the sassy, kind and silent Clementines I guess.

  • Me as a person, I am soft and forgive easily, so I'm kind Clem

  • I play Kind and Silent. I'm generally nice but I keep my distance from people I don't like.

  • Sassy Clem obviously! After all the shit she has been though in the last2 years, it's just logical for her to be sassy! (And it's gonna help her survive)

  • 40% Sassy 60% Nice 0% Silent... I'm very opinionated so there's no way I can actually do a silent playthrough without twitching

  • to be honest, my clem is all of them. I only use sassy clem when necessary (for like example when Rebecca tried intimidating clem)

  • without twitching lol

  • My dialogues are always mixed because I like totally immerse myself in the game so I talk like I would talk in my everyday life. I can be very sassy and sarcastic but nice when is needed and so is my Clem,I don't really play an "alignment". I rarelly use the silent option, sometimes it happens because time runs out..

  • I immediately thought of this when I read your post lol.

  • I have two different saves: first one for my initial choices, where Clem is somewhat sassy but is generally nice, and another one is Kind Clem, where Clem is as nice as possible.

  • I have kind of a mix of Sassy and kind Clem but more kind Clem ;)

  • Oops forget that, my clem is never silent oops

I play with silent and kind Clem.

I really don't like sassy Clem at all with her badass attitude and attempt at cool one liners. Get real TellTale. If you want her like that then why don't you just turn her into some Rambo type hero and give her a machine gun with attached grenade launcher.

  • Sassy isn't like that

  • Kind Clem with a little bit of sass.

  • One liners? Can I get an example because I don't remember any one liners.

  • Kind Clem. I want her to be how I think my Lee wanted her to be. Though not all the time of course, I believe that in some situations it's better to be sassy/silent.

I'm always trying to be nice to everyone (Including Larry and Ben. I know a lot of will power and patience right?) and keeping my cool even the worst situations either being as Lee and Clementine. But from the looks of it, no matter how much I'm playing kind and hopeful Clem, her face and actions shows that she's become a sassy, hardened and bitter person. I mean this is a reasonable thing right? (Lilly's Voice) She's been through so much, and lost pretty much everything and it's hardened him you know? But if you ask me, kind and hopeful Clem is the best for me at least.

  • I play innocent and kind Clem who sometimes says what needs to be said but others can't say. It often means choosing the silent option and telling people when they fucked up... Nickkkkkkk...

Me to but I'm to honest. Guy says: Lee what did you before this all happened. Me: I killed a senator, my wife left my, got arrested, killed a cop who came back from the dead, killed a babysitter who came back from the dead and so I got here with a little girl, any questions?

Me as a person, I am soft and forgive easily, so I'm kind Clem

  • In my main playthrough, my Clem is sassy and a bit hardened, but still kind to people who deserve it. She's also cautious. (I played the Carver-in-the-cabin and Walter-with-the-knife scenarios as cautiously as I could.)

In my "asshole Clem" playthrough, she's mostly sassy and silent when it's appropriate. (Staying silent during the scene with Luke in the kitchen is hilarious. Luke keeps blabbing on and Clem just glares at him and continues to eat.) I also try to be a brat to everyone.

  • For my canon playthrough, I'm trying to make Clementine's dialogue and decision making as natural as possible. I took the sweet innocent girl from Season One and thought about how the events of the finale, bathroom incident and time skip must have changed her. Would her rosy worldview still be intact after killing the Stranger? Watching Lee and Omid die? Watching Christa lose her baby? The answer is, of course, no. The first thing we see post-time skip is 11 year-old Clementine staring, not at the audience, but straight through it.. She has the expression of a soldier who just came back after a year or two in the trenches; weary, shellshocked, burdened by guilt yet detached enough to be insanely brave in the face of mortal danger. At least to me, that scene did an amazing job of establishing her character, so I went ahead and ran away with it. I balanced out her cold snarky demeanor with moments like the dinner table conversation with Luke and listening to Rebecca's baby at the lodge. She's still a kid after all and those are good opportunities to acknowledge that.

tl;dr: A lot of sass, sporadic niceness, a fair amount of moping, a little bit of hoping, a helluva lot of heroism, a touch of childish innocence, and plenty of "...". (I just realized that's almost poetry, go me...)

  • Sassy clem all the way!!!!

  • I find it difficult to be an asshole in any game. I derive no satisfaction from it. As Clem I'm usually nice, if a bit inquisitive. I might make a snarky comment here and there but when push comes to shove I always try to save people or defuse tense situations while trying to avoid violence. I'm no pacifist, but aren't the dead killing enough of us?

  • I have multiple files. But my first file is a bit like my Lee. Usually nice but takes no BS from anyone.

  • Not a quiet one. There are some badass dialougues. Still Not Bitten and Threathening the pregnant lady. I am as sassy as i need to be, not more not less.

  • Mostly kind and forgiving Clem, but still noticeably hardened and does not trust people as quickly as she used to with Lee and others. Also not afraid to stand her ground if necessary.

  • I PLAY AS SASSY CLEMENTINE! :)

  • Kind yet unmerciful Clementine is my principle.

  • Lmfao. I love that one too.

"Can you hear me, dear?" - Carver sounded legitimately concerned.
