it's funny since I've played fallout 3 and just downloading borderlands just because the art and that telltale is making a game like that.
I heard both are like open world RP which bore me to hell, like fallout 3. If you like a basic kind of game that's simple and isn't like a mission game basically I highly suggest you not to get any of these games. And fallout 3 is really outdated and the graphics are scary

@Ellias, I really dig the freedom they offer you, half the fun for me is exploring the world that tells stories of its own. Plus there are some good graphic mods that make the wasteland (and its people) look better. To each their own, however.
@Tyranitar, I'd recommend New Vegas or either the gameplay gem that is the original Deus Ex (not so much graphically) or its prequel, Human Revolution (the more recent one, actually). Avoid the second one like the plague. New Vegas lacks the vibrancy of F3's Capital Wasteland, but the story is great, and you get to pick sides over the factions vying for the Mojave and Vegas.
EDIT: Oh, yeah, and about Borderlands, I'm actually going to try it completely for the first time. I played some years ago and liked it, but it was a cousin's copy.

And one thing about New Vegas that makes the rest of Bethesda's games kind of suck to me, there's only 2 characters in that game you can't kill. Nothing worse than getting into a fight and having three invincible people showing up.

Cool, I'm currently making an animation of Clementine doing a special move. (She summons numerous hammers and throws them at the enemy, she then ducks and flies with angel wings to the enemy and kicks him into the air and punches him down.)
