I don't think they will just remove the entire forum section of TWD, what they might do is move up the more actual games that are being released at the time so people can talk about them, but if I were you I wouldn't worry, most likely there will always be a section for you to talk about TWD.
"Cheap?" Excuse me son, but i'll just let you know one thing. Back before The Walking Dead came out, one of the best and loved things in this forum was Sam & Max, and we didn't call that cheap. I mean, come on, The Wolf Among Us came out and a huge part of the fanbase that came from TWD loved it.
You can't call a game cheap that you didn't saw yet. 'S like reading the cover of a book and saying "This is awful."
But for the question, i'm sure the ones who are actually loyal to Telltale and not just The Walking Dead will stay and continue to play Telltale's upcoming games. The Borderlands fanbase might move in here once Tales from the Borderlands kicks off. So will Game of Thones' fanbase. One thing for sure though, it's not like the entirety of us will be gone from here. I've followed Telltale since 2010, and i'll keep following it, because it makes new and amazing games everytime. That's my perspective of this.
I gotta say if Telltale is planning to finish TWD this Season, I will be so sad. Not because of the game is gonna end, I'll miss this commun… moreity too. Telltale wouldn't remove the Walking Dead section, even if they did stop making games based on the seires. It's one of the most active sections of the site - getting rid of it wouldn't make any sense at all!
They'd probably draw more attention to their newer titles (which I suspect we'll see happen later this year), but I've no doubt they'd still keep the old sections open.
