My father is a retired member of the United States Air Force, and we spent most of the years of my life, deployed in countries such as, Turkey, Germany, Guam and Italy, normally staying at NATO installations, USAF bases or UN embassies and consulates. I'm in the tenth grade, and my father is retired, so now I'm a dependent of my mother, who is a DODEA teacher.
Let me tell you this, both our countries present each other as horrible people. But the truth is, we're all just normal people like you, and not the monsters your government makes us look like. My point is that we both represent the good side of our countries, the side that does get along.
