That's the problem, all they said is that "it's not a great place", so I was trying to figure out why, and if it's not nice in general or just for the foreigners, heh.
Btw, is it nice in Victoria? They told me I should go to Melbourne.
Could you give me a little bit more information? Why are they saying you shouldn't come here? I'm from Victoria and Perth is on the west coast but I might be able to answer some questions if you tell my why they are saying don't come here.
I love Melbourne . Unfortunately there isn't much I can tell you, I have never left Australia so I don't know if Australia is friendlier than most other places. What I can tell you is out major cities are very multicultural especially Melbourne and Sydney, a lot of foreigners say we are racist but a lot of them don't understand that we have a very big insult culture. What I mean by insult culture is it is not uncommon for friends to insult one another and when it comes to insults among friends race is fair game. If someone insults you and they have a smile on their face that usually means they like you we are also very blunt and straight to the point (what you see is usually what you get) we don't have time for people who take themselves too seriously either.
I could talk about Australians for paragraphs but I will finish off with, for the most part we are very friendly but we can also be an acquired taste.

Thanks for the information. I'm gonna look for unis in Melbourne too them, heh!
And Brazilians kind of have this insult culture too, I wouldn't be bothered by it, lol :b

Ahh I see, Down under is slang term for Australia, although it is usually used by non Australians, we don't actually refer to Australia as the land down under in common language.
Sorry, I get mixed up bewteen Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Estonia's the one in the middle right? Given the reply below I guess that makes Latvia on top and Lithuaniana on the bottom?
Rofl yeah unfortunately you can't translate from some languages to others word to word, it just turns into a jumbled mess. What I was trying to say is, technically Australia is a part of Asia so technically it could be argued that Australians are in fact asian :P

Makes sense, Finnish and Estonian are both Uralic languages. Latvian and Lithuanian are closer to Slavic languages aren't they? (Though I looked it up and it sounds like they somewhat related but still really different???)

You said: "That meets you [the subject pronoun is dropped] is/are an asian without happiness. But I Australia and with technology we spoke Asia."
