Well, in episode 2 they were talking about a thunderstorm, but we never got to see it yet, Maybe Carver is talking about that thunderstorm.
But at the end of the episode we see Carver and Clementine looking down the road, and there's a shitload of walkers.

I think it may be walkers or a hurricane or whatever the fuck. Also, side note: Anyone notice how there has never been a tornado or hurricane situation in the ZA (or not that i've noticed). Yes, I know tornadoes aren't extremely common on the east coast but things like hurricanes still happen. It'd be a damn good plot device.

It'd also be quite relate-able since I live in tornado valley and expirience that shit all the time. Probably would be ten times worse with zombies.

Human activity and pollution increases the frequency of these things a LOT, in a zombie apocalypse there would be less pollution and general human stupidity going on, so these things wouldn't happen nearly as often as they do now.

I think this is gonna end up referring to a lot of things one being the literal storm the other being approaching walkers and lastly the conflict between Carvers former and later group leading to ruins hence Episode 4: Amid the Ruins.
