He's my favourite character this season, cemented after his 'I had to kill my mom' conversation. He makes some bad calls, but he does it all because he's fiercely protective of his friends. Honestly, despite not being the most capable I trust him more than anyone else in the group. He opens up and is more honest than anyone else after Pete went - after which, you can tell he really wants to be of help even more.
I also find him pretty sympathetic about wishing he was built like the more resilient folks like Luke, but knows he isn't.
He's a good man, knows where the fucking river is, may be a bit of a screw-up but he's cool. I totally get where he's coming from, the death of Uncle Pete and the people who he grew up with must be heart-wrenching for him.
He's probably one of my favorites from season 2. Even if he screws up sometimes he still tries to make thing's right, He really shows how he cares about his friends sometimes.
I don't view him as a Ben 2.0, out of everyone in the cabin group after Pete died, I liked Nick the most because he opened up to Clem and was honest with her. He may screw up at times but I can tell that he doesn't mean it, some people should give Nick a break he seems like he's a genuine person.
I think he's an overprotective guy that messes up sometimes.I also think he's so scared and overprotective because nobody is helping him cope with, anything like Pete's death and him killing Matthew.
My favorite, definitely.
I don't know, I think he is genuinely a good person that is trying to help, but... ends up fucking up. Kind of like Ben (my favorite from S1... oh well), but on a minor scale. You think he's an ass at first, but then he apologizes and explains why he did what he did and admits that it was not cool. That was enough for me start to like him.
I feel bad for him too. I mean, he saw two family members die in front of him (not exactly in front of him if you save Pete, but he still sees his corpse) and no one, not even his best friend trust him that much.
I'm kind of sad knowing he's probably going to die soon, due to his determinant status (Telltale... let him live a little longer, please...?), but I hope he at least gets a proper death.
On another note, he has some pretty funny lines. He and Luke have the funniest lines in my opinion

He's likeable but messes up sometimes

So he's the Ben of season 2?
He's a fuck up. But beneath his mistakes and his temper, he's a good person.
A lot more likeable than Ben...

He's a danger to the group.
I'd like him a lot more if he didn't almost shoot Clem with a rifle.
I think he is generally a good guy, but his decision making seems pretty lousy.

You should probably put your post in spoiler tags, because this whole conversation has spoilers from both existing episodes.
