Season 1 Clem for me, I'm not a big fan of badass Clem and I don't like how TT advertise her in that way in their trailers and tweets. I know she can't be all sweet and innocent like in Season 1 as you now play as her and she's older but they have made her arrogant and disrespectful at times, if it was a choice thing then that's ok but it's automatic. I can't stand those dirty looks she pulls at people too.
I like Season 2 Clem. I think the change of Clem to a little badass style is realistic for this world. She is growing since ca 3 years in a world where the death is waiting behind every corner. Kill the dead and fear the living. In this world can`t exist a little sweet girl much long.

There is only one Clem to me, But i like season 2 Clem simply because i get to play her the way I think Lee would be proud of. I play her Like my Lee was.. Showed mercy, supportive and kind and also knew how to deal with people.
I try my best to play her my way which is more realistic than what the TT writers obviously want her to be. It really is disappointing and I hope they make her less sassy from now.
I like Season 2 Clem more than her Season 1 counterpart. She's more capable now than she's ever been before, and her personality is much more dynamic this time around. I do love her more in S1, but I respect her more in S2.
Most people like the way she is now much better than she was in season 1 or they believe that the way she is now is the most realistic approach to a girl growing up in a ZA.

It doesn't matter what she's like, she'll always be Clem to me. If I had to pick one to be by my side in a real ZA, probably S2. She knows what needs to be done to survive.
Geez, some people can't take differing opinions. It's like as soon as they saw that some people preferred season 2 Clem they brought out the dislikes. Anyway, I just want to say that it doesn't feel like bad writing or that it's been forced the way she acts now. I still see the old Clem in her; it feels natural the way she is now. She can't open up to new people easily; everyone just seems to just die right before her. She's quite, broken, she's seen to much. How many of you guys think it would seem normal if she was the same happy-go-lucky kid we saw in season 1?
And about her acting with "sass," like everyone says, she was with Christa alone for at least a year and four months. Christa was not afraid to speak her mind and was somewhat sassy as well; she left an impression on Clem. Plus, all the death and misfortune's changed the kid.
Which Clem do I prefer? Well, it's the same Clem. How can I say which one I prefer when it's the exact same person that's just grown and changed over a course of time? Everyone should just love Clem for who she is. Hell, she isn't even that sassy, she's just scared and alone and dealing with people she's only gotten a small amount of time to know and are basically just a group of strangers to her.
It's hard to choose which one is my favorite, i like season 2 Clem as she is more capable of defending herself and more mature, whereas i miss the innocent Clem from season 1 and the fact that she could make her own decisions where they whether it is safe or not (like going in the doggy door).
Well, it makes sense: spending one year and four months in the wilderness with nobody but Christa has to do something for her character. I think Christa's additude rubbed off on her. If Omid were still alive, Clem would probably be a much softer individual, but everything went wrong with her. Her hope in the first Season was refreshing, but Season 2 Clem understands that she was naïve. That is the big difference: Season One Clem only had a taste of what the Walker World had to offer her, and she was naïve and inexperienced. Clem and Christa likely neared starving to death several times in that 16 month time period.
So yeah, it makes sense that she is no longer naïve and hopeful after what has happened to her and what she has experienced. Not a change we like, but it certainly isn't a far fetched change. I mean, come on, would it at all be good writing if she was still the same Clem, saying, "Everyone I know is dead or gone, most of it is my fault, two years of zombies without any realistic possibility of things being the way they were before, but I still think everything will be OK!"

Not easy question. Let me think. Clementine from season 1 wasn't strong but was smart, caring person, friendly, polite for people, smiled a lot, joked, true moral compass for Lee. Clementine from season 2 is incredibly strong, can push away heavy corpse (absurd), badly written (doing adult man's tasks), almost never smiles or jokes, always gloomy, can be unpolite. If that is Clementine's transformation, TTG should have pick different protagonist and leave old Clem alone.
I like edgy S2 Clementine. On the outside, she's a hardened child soldier who has to be tough and detached in order to survive. Quiet moments reveal that deep down, Clem is still a scared little girl, who's beginning to unravel due to all the trauma she's endured.

Season 1 Clem FTW.
Season One Clementine was the best, no doubt about it. However, that was because we were playing a protective role. She was our conscience as well which makes things different this time around.
Now we are seeing the apocalypse through her eyes and it's bound to be different. I still enjoy the game though because it's different. There isn't anything like The Walking Dead and it's a pity that it won't go on forever. If I had my way, I would do the seasons at certain stages of her life.
Season One Childhood - Season Two Preteen - Season Three Teenager and so on. That way we grow with her. This could be what Telltale have in mind. I hope so as I would like to continue playing The Walking Dead for a few years yet.

Perhaps is it just the puberty^^
I like both, through I do sometimes miss the sweet and innocent girl back in Season 1.

Both are amazing but I prefer Clem the way she was before. She isn't entirely different anyway.

I like Clem from season 1 a lot better. But don't get me wrong i love this Clem too!
You just read my mind sir.

Why do you downvote people which like season 2 Clem more? It's not a reason to hate someone. Come on! -_-

Great, looks like pedo bear's on this forum too -_-

I have a creat fantasy! I'm got a test from doctors when I was little
Clementine was treated very good by Lee, but in seasons 2 she meets new people that treat her like shit.
Btw, she could be assertive towards Lee in season 1.

yeah... everyone you loved is dead or probably in future dead. And you are smiling and joking? Cmon...
Agree completely. I really wish I could give Clem a hug. If anyone needs one, it's her.
I approve. Good job, man.
Thank you and for youre like
I like my season 2 Clementine. Compassionate, caring and forgiving yet able to defend herself when she has to. The Clementine Lee would've been proud of.
The forum isn't about getting likes....
I know but it is just so fun!
Well said. I once said this on another thread. "It is like watching your child grow up and no matter how she changes, you still love her."
