Season 2.Her being the main Character you have a chance to bond with her more, she isn't someone you just have to take care of and watch out for, Like all through Season one every decision was based on is this right for taking care of her or I need to do this to keep her safe. I like her more that she can kick ass and I know she can take care of herself instead being unsure.
We haven't even played the other 3 episodes yet, so I can't judge yet.
Although from what I've seen I prefer Season 2 Clem over Season 1 Clem because we can actually shape her personality, rather than her just being a moral compass for Lee. (Not to mention if she was still the little girl we knew from S1, she would be dead)
My season 2 Clem is very similar to Clem in season 1, doing all the right choices and she isn't being an asshole to anyone. But if I had to pick, I'd probably go with Season 1's Clem.

Christa has spent nearly 4 times as much time with Clementine then Lee did with her.
And if Christa blamed Clementine for Omid's death...well there's a reason why she might act different.

Clementine was treated very good by Lee, but in seasons 2 she meets new people that treat her like shit.
Btw, she could be assertive towards Lee in season 1.
Not easy question. Let me think. Clementine from season 1 wasn't strong but was smart, caring person, friendly, polite for people, smiled a … morelot, joked, true moral compass for Lee. Clementine from season 2 is incredibly strong, can push away heavy corpse (absurd), badly written (doing adult man's tasks), almost never smiles or jokes, always gloomy, can be unpolite. If that is Clementine's transformation, TTG should have pick different protagonist and leave old Clem alone.

Did you ever thought about like that; I spend playing the entire Season with Lee just trying to become a unforgettable best person for Clementine next to her family and then in this 2 years, she spends more time with Omid and Christa than she spend with Lee? I don't know, maybe my thoughts just ultimately ridicolus and another reason for you to give me a lot of downvotes but I feel that my decisions I did for her didn't affect her characteristic personalities not even a little bit. I didn't play Lee as a sassy and asshole in Season One (Not saying Clem is asshole in this season. And I didn't even sweared once) come on.

I like any Clem. Season 1 and Season 2 are both pretty good. You guys really expect her to keep her innocence after seeing her parents as walkers and then having to shoot Lee, her father like figure, in the head? Especially a 9 year old. That has to cause a lot of painful things for her.
You guys are talking like it's two different people. It's the same girl it's like if your parents just walked in and said "I liked you way better when you were eight." You just don't compare people to there former selves
I love season 2 clem a bit more, actually. i've seen a lot of people say that her being the playable character now has ruined her character for them, but personally playing as clementine is just as worthwhile as playing as lee. a lot of those people still see clementine as the moral compass, but the truth is, she is and was always her own character, not just lee's morality. she definitely played a role in shaping our moral decisions in s1 but seeing her develop into her own person, a true coming-of-age story, is amazing. i do miss her high high voice though. i actually replayed episode 5 a few days ago and when we save her from the stranger she is adorable.
I like her either way cuz she's CLEMENTINE. Obiviously when you get older and shit happens 24/7 you would change. But my Clem has most of her Season 1 personality while being bad to the bone when necessary.
