Christa theory: Rebecca's baby?
As you all know, Christa appeared in the first episode of the second season of the Walking Dead. Her pregnancy had become very clear and we even got to talk about naming the baby. Things took a dark turn however when Omid died and Christa's baby presumably, yet very likely, died later on as well, leaving her a bitter woman.
Later on, she and Clementine have a short conversation which ends up with Clem alone and Christa out looking for wood. Things go wrong quickly when Clementine hears some screams, people are arguing. She sneaks up to where Christa is and either distracts the bandits harassing Christa or she carefully sneaks off.
Whatever you do, the bandits chase after Clementine and a gunshot is released. Christa can also be stabbed in the leg depending on your choices.
Christa's fate is ambiguous, but for the sake of this theory, let's just assume that she survived and that she escaped the bandits. She would likely head up north, where Wellington is. When you cross the bridge and talk to Matthew, he talks about how a lot of people pass it to go to Wellington, meaning that Christa likely moves past it as well.
"Why is all of this important?" One might ask. Well, my dear reader, this is important because it could mean that Christa will be within the same area as Clem and the group, which could mean that when Rebecca has the baby... It could be happening outside of the settlement, and some tragic circumstances could make it so that her baby gets left behind.
All of this would end up with Christa finding the baby and nourishing it like she would her own, had it lived. Later on she could even encounter the group and have a very interesting reunion with Clementine, and the baby with its mother.
Tell me what you think about this theory and thank you if you read the whole thing. : )

I could see Christa end up raising the baby. Maybe not in that exact way. I doubt the baby will just be left behind like that maybe they run into christa and after Bec's death she raises it.
This actualy makes perfect sense in my opinion. The baby could be a " replacement " for Christa, after she lost her own child.
Well the baby doesn't "just" get left behind, it happens during a very dangerous and heart-breaking moment, presumably with a whole bunch of walkers or another group or something.
I understand but again in what situation would they put down the small infant in such a way so that it dosnt end up getting eaten (but at the same time they dont have time to run with it) so that christa could pick it up later (they dont know christa is there), either they would not put it down or it would be dropped and eaten.
Rebbecca in particular would not let go of the baby no matter what if she's there.
Also I think Christa ending up with the baby is a good theory however I'm thinking more they eventually run into her and after the parents are dead she adopts it.
What he/she said... (Sry, i don't know what gender you are:)
The only way i could possible see the baby getting left behind, is if we have to make a difficult decision. Something like save Rebbeca or save her baby. (Even though, i don't think that's what gonna happen and Rebbeca would hate us for the rest of her life, if we left her baby behind!)
You two are probably right, although maybe the baby even gets taken by a certain group of what seems like bandits, but who later end up being okay guys living with Christa.
They could mistake their group for evil, because of Carver's goon's behavior.
Christa may end up stealing the baby from Carver. Perhaps she does it unknowingly? If she's spotted doing this by anyone else, especially members of Carlos's group, that makes her their enemy. This would definitely put Clem in a very awkward situation, if she has to defend Christa at some point.
I really hope Christa ends up taking care of Rebecca's baby and finds a safe place. I really want a happy ending (or as happy as we can get in TWD) for her, more than any other character in the game.
I could see Christa rejoining the group right around the time Bec is giving birth, and then maybe she will die and Christa is the only one with a real maternal instinct to care for the child.
Good idea, actually. Makes a bit more sense.
