"You saw in Shells story the cancer patients of Venon? Did you talk to them and what were you thoughts"
What was your reaction in 400 Days when you saw the cancer survivors from Vernon's group in Shel's story? Did you talk to them and what were your thoughts?
There, fixed.
Anyway, my own OCD aside, why're you spoiler-tagging something about 400 Days when it was released last year?
Immediately started to try and kill them off, yet as you guys know Shel can only do so much in her story. Unfortunately Boyd (the best of the bunch) was the only one to bite it, I really really wish Clive could have gotten nabbed by a walker and ended up as a watchdog like Becca said...
Such anger! The boat was like Clem's walkie-talkie. It seems so important, yet only results in death and suffering. I never saw it as a viable long-term solution.

Man, I am really bitter about that boat still.

The boat was a lot more important than Clem's walkie talkie. The walkie talkie was a coping mechanism for her following the loss of her parents, the boat was a viable solution to getting off of the land and finding someplace safer. I know a lot of people didn't agree with the plan, but I felt like the boat getting stolen was one of the final straws for the group.

Their both threads of hope for the characters and both cause nothing but additional misery and difficulty for the group. So on a symbolic level, they are definitely alike.

I was confused. I still am. Why they didn't reach Florida? Came for gas?
You have OCD?
OCD BROS!

I dont think their goal was to reach Florida. I think it was mostly just to escape from the horde approaching Savannah.

It had to be Florida. They were old farts. Where else would they go? New Jersey?
I just assumed they went a little north or south. Far enough to at least be away from Savannah.
True, I can agree that both inspired some hope in certain characters that is eventually crushed. I was viewing it in a utilitarian sense, though.
Why are you making a thread about every scene that happens and asking people about their reactions?
