This just occurred to me, so I thought I would add - Christa is in denial, so she won't have to face up to her - and Omid's - equal role to Clem's in his death.

Hm, I guess what bothers me most is that Christa seems to unfairly blame Clem and not herself and Omid, based on the look she had on her face when Omid was dying. Feel like I might not have communicated that. Everybody fucked up, but Christa seemns like she was disproportionately blaming Clem.
That's exactly why I don't hold it against Clem. She's a kid. Yes, Christa and Omid should've been a little more responsible, but in the end, that's not what did Omid in. Clementine's gun is what got him.
She could be. Denial is a very convenient blinder, if you have a good enough reason to wear it. But she did seem to soften when Clem mentioned she wished Omid was here, so maybe.

I thought the angry look was if you mention missing Lee. It seemed like Christa caved a little when you mention wishing Omid was around. Little sympathy realizing this young child accepts her fault in the matter, and maybe Christa should too. Though as Harpadarpa mentioned, maybe Christa has.
I remember that if you pick "I miss Omid" Christa gives Clementine a real angry look, and again if you mention about him saying "Omid was go… moreing to teach me" about the fire stuff, Christa snaps again. She really holds Omid's death against her...but then he wouldn't be dead if they hadn't chosen to relive vegas in the other restroom! She's a little kid for crying out loud and they let her walk in there without checking first for her? She could've been munched by a bunch of walkers hiding in there.
That's bad parenting right there is all I'm saying, and Clem was only 9 at the time.
Well, if you're going to be that meta, why does it matter at all? These people aren't even real!
I don't know that Michelle is terrible, she didn't INTENTIONALLY kill Omid, and maybe she had little choice about robbing someone. Circumstances are tough all around. Wrong place, wrong time. But I think the point OP was trying to make was Christa seems to unfairly blame Clem for something she had as much to do with. At least, that's what pisses me off about the whole deal. But Michelle seems like just as much of a victim as anyone else, really. She got all killed too.
Clementine may have made a mistake leaving her gun right there, but I think Omid and Christa made a bigger mistake when they trusted everyth… moreing would just be okay sending Clem in there alone and running off to do the naughty elsewhere. Christ sakes she's still a 10 year old girl. They sort of created the situation, however Michelle should be the only one truly blamed for it. She was a terrible human being.
The thing about blame is it doesn't really matter who it's assigned to, Clementine, Michelle, it's pointless and won't bring Omid back.
I guess that's fairly open at this point, or determinant at least. Maybe she feels the one way if you mention Lee and the other if you mention Omid. I will give her credit for still taking care of Clem. And I imagine that if you chose to distract the bandits, Christa isn't nearly soulless enough not to appreciate that you at least tried to help her get away.

That'd be cool, but... a great way to tug at the heart strings is by killing a character there has been adaquate time to connect with. So, maybe it'll be Kenny (he did get hit in the face with a hatchet(?) in the Ep 3 preview), but Christa could definitely fit in that spot.

I'd be mostly pissed that the two non-asshole characters from season 1 died instantly, while my second least favorite character like ever is paraded around and given a bullshit reason for surviving hell.
I recall Christa being pretty aggro to Lee when you first met her, regardless of how Lee reacted. Played through enough times to know for certain. But everyone did something to characterize them as an asshole. Well, except Omid, he only got pissy if you save him before Christa on the train.

Ah, I would've figured when she was sitting and talking to Clem right before that to be the soften point. She also aggressively grilled Lee about the walkie talkie in E4.

She was justified in asking, since she knew it wasn't supposed to work, but (at least MY Lee) wasn't going to keep any secrets, just hadn't gotten somewhere to bring it up yet.

Both Christa/Omid and Clem were at fault.
Had Christa/Omid been with Clem, they would have shot the intruder.
Had Clem kept track of h… moreer gun, she could have held the intruder at gunpoint and get Omid/Christa.
Blame can't be necessarily held on one person.
Other than not laying directly on/letting anyone else lay directly on the baby, the only safety issues to consider are the ones you'd be considering anyways... STIs, consent, safe words if that's your thing, cross-contamination....
That's something I think could be expanded on in a flashback! Did Clem or Christa give Omid a head shot, or could one or both of them not handle it and they just left him? The latter seems unlikely, but, could be a determinant. What circumstances was Michelle in? Did Clem and Christa have to book it to avoid her group? Maybe she just seperated from her group to eliminate and saw an opportunity.... which backfired. Or second fired. Shooting pun.
Anyone ask where this one random teen/young adult even came from? That's the biggest question to me. This far along the apocalypse to be alone, weaponless, and barging into random buildings is odd to me.
Yes, everyone has some blame, but I believe the OP was angry that Christa seemed to be blaming Clem without accepting her own and Omid's roles in Omid's death. That's how I felt, anyways.

My theory is that Christa also hates herself for blaming Clem for Omid's death. She seems like a rational person. She knows that it's stupid to blame a little girl for not taking every precaution all the time. And she knows that she and Omid are somewhat to blame for leaving Clem by herself. But knowing all this, there's still that insidious little voice in her head that goes "If only..." That's why she doesn't like it when Clem brings up Omid and why she seems to have emotionally walled herself off from her. Because no matter how many times Christa tells herself that it's not Clem's fault, every time she sees Clem's face, all the resentment comes flooding back to her.
I don't give a single fuck whos fault it is! The only one truly at fault is Michelle. Look, imagine if it was you...being blamed for the death of someone else already screws with your mind, but imagine how this would effect a childs mind. It was an accident, wrong place, wrong time.
I don't see why some of you make it come off as if Clem's a badass, when yes, she did cause the death of Omid. She could have distracted Mic… morehelle a little more, and yes, taken the gun.
You can't have it both ways. She cannot be a badass and a child.

After a year? I doubt she's in denial.

In the moment, damn right she blamed Clem, but they didn't talk enough for us to figure out if she still did.
Um... YES
I can use bold, too. What a dickish way of expressing your disagreement.
We don't have enough info to say one way or the other. My gut tells me no, though.

Yeah, that's definitely 'fuck me' eyes. Or, a suggestive look, if you prefer.

I really want Christa to survive the season.

That was definitely the butt of Carver's revolver.
But if Christa dies, we riot.
Oh, thought I saw a sharp edge there. Mmmm... honestly, Christa was kind of a cold fish in Season 1, I don't know how broken up I'd be.
I'd be mostly pissed that the two non-asshole characters from season 1 died instantly, while my second least favorite character like ever is paraded around and given a bullshit reason for surviving hell.
Right, that one.

Only at first, but then she softens up.
Yeah, but then she gets on Lee's ass about the walkers in the train station like she didn't knowingly let Lee go off with Clem.
Yeah. That was before she softened up.
Ah, I would've figured when she was sitting and talking to Clem right before that to be the soften point. She also aggressively grilled Lee about the walkie talkie in E4.
Oh, she liked Clem from the beginning. The walkie talkie was justified. Secrets are a bad thing to keep.
She was justified in asking, since she knew it wasn't supposed to work, but (at least MY Lee) wasn't going to keep any secrets, just hadn't gotten somewhere to bring it up yet.
I wouldn't like people keeping secrets from me.
Indeed, it's just like many results in the game.

it's not clementine fault.... everyone should be nice to little Clementine because she is sweet and a good kid.

Because.... hormones? Women don't usually experience lack of sex drive until after the baby is born, from my understanding.

I'm going to borrow Omids humor and just say, he missed a big chance of saying "PUT THE GUN DOWN, BITCH!"

How are bold words a dickish way to disagree
I disagree. When you use bold words, and an "um" as if it were obvious, in an ambiguous (at best) situation, that is being a dick.
