I think you're more likely to be able to stop Nick from doing something stupid than Kenny, given their personalities. We know how well Kenn… morey listens to others, especially when their opinions conflict with his own.
And the setting is meant to be a building within Carver's camp that Nick likely doesn't really know.
I feel pretty safe in saying that at least most of the people who don't help Kenny do so because they feel it's the wrong choice. What's the exact wording of the Larry stat? Does it show who helped to kill Larry or who tried to revive him?
Turning the issue what issue I'm not bothering to get into this I'm just giving my honest opinion about this either you agree or you don't I don't really care
Protecting your family is fine, but it's his methods and blatant disregard for everyone else that's the problem. I could understand him letting someone die if it were a Doug/Carley situation between a member of his family and someone else. However, I'm talking more about situations like the one at the lodge. He wanted to save Sarita, and possibly Clem-that's fine. What's not fine is shooting at people with automatic weapons. Even if he took that one guy out, there were others who might retaliate with violence against the people inside. If you sneak out to find him, you can even point this out. He disregards it, Walter gets killed, and Carver clearly states his intention of killing people until he surrenders. Kenny doesn't care. As long as it's not Sarita or Clem, he'll keep shooting, and in doing so, keep letting innocent people die for no real reason.
So are you telling me that protecting your family isn't the right decision? It's a zombie apocolypse, even Luke knows that the most importan… moret thing in this world is family. You can't blame Kenny for that.
Yes, innocent people might have died, but it's better to go out with a fight then just die like a coward!
This decision is harder than my dick, I want to save Kenny but if he messes up I'm going to have to pick Nick, also because I needed to keep… more that promise from Peter, though Kenny might mess up through our decisions, Gavin Hammon said from your decisions you could be friends with him or not, so he might mess up and you'll choose to be friends with him or not (like the Larry incident) or maybe your decisions will make him mess up, oh and before someone replies to me and get a lot of likes "Dude don't talk about your dick" ~ Wyatt
I don't think you get what I'm saying All I'm saying is that there are some people who see Kenny's choice as the "right" choice yet they couldn't go with it like I said earlier I chose to help Larry but I also knew I was potentially putting everyone else in danger (in short I knew what kenny did was IMO the right thing to do but I still couldn't go through with it)
I feel pretty safe in saying that at least most of the people who don't help Kenny do so because they feel it's the wrong choice. What's the exact wording of the Larry stat? Does it show who helped to kill Larry or who tried to revive him?

That's what I just said. He only stops shooting because you bring up Sarita.
Except Kenny WASN'T trying to save the others, just Clem and Sarita. He knew after Walter died that Carver meant business. It didn't matter if he hit Carver or killed him-there were at least two other armed people in there, who could easily kill everyone in response to their leader dying.
No, that's not true. If you tell Kenny to stop shoting and think about Sarita he will stop and Alvin will survive.
The point is, Kenny di… moredn't just surrender and let himself get captured. He tryed to save Sarita/Clem and all the others.
I told Kenny to shot Carver, because he told me that he thinks he can do it! (Even though i didn't think Telltale would just kill Carver of like this)
Better yet, make a comic where Clem is unhappy they don't get along, gives them alcohol in an attempt to change that, then witnesses them drunkenly arguing over something stupid.
Because you say that those who didn't help Larry thought it was th "right thing to do" what. I'm saying is there were also people who while they thought that while kenny did the right thing they themselves couldn't go though with it (not saying it for everybody just for people that I've seen)

Because Kenny is horrid. His voice actor is cool, and he's written well, but he has less justification for his evil actions than any other character in the game. I just can't stand him.
And Nick is the exact opposite of that... With the exception of shooting Matthew, but he was losing it a bit at that point, so I forgive him.
Carver was the ringleader, and if Kenny had been able to actually kill him, the situation might have been resolved right there. Both Troy and Bonnie just freeze up when he goes down. Killing Carver, in the long run, would solve more problems than it creates. He screwed up when he shot Johnny, but his only failing if he shoots Carver is not getting the bastard in the head.
While Kenny will surrender if Sarita has a gun to her head, he also surrenders if Clem does. Which is why I'd go on alone if he got to Sarita first. He'd follow me, no matter how much he may hate it, because Clem would be in danger and he considers Clem as family now.
I did address this above. If Nick is dead, then either another character-preferably Carlos-could take his place, or you could have the opti… moreon of infiltrating alone.
I just believe you wouldn't be able to convince Kenny to save the others, especially if he believes doing so would in some way endanger Sarita. Look at the lodge situation. Even if you tell him not to shoot, he does anyway, because Sarita is inside. Walter dies as a result. Knowing for certain what Carver is capable of and planning to do, Kenny still wants to fire again. Even if you tell him not to, he'll only relent when you bring up Sarita.
Like I'm trying to say YOU feel pretty safe we don't know the real reasoning for why people helped or killed Larry yeah most people didn't help kill Larry was it because they felt it was the "wrong" choice possibly is it also possible some felt that what kenny did was the right thing but couldn't follow with it also possible (I've also seen people on these forums who state the only reason they tried to save Larry was because clementine was there they even stated that if clementine wasn't there then they'd probably agree eith kenny either way neither of is can speak for the majority
Like I said:

Would Kenny know that, however? Carver might have been shouting out their demands, but obviously someone would have to in that situation. He even refers to the guy Kenny kills as "our" man, as opposed to "my" man. Also, consider their location. Just running away would hardly be ideal for Bonnie and that other guy, and Kenny outside would have made it impossible to leave. If Carver has instilled the belief that it's an eye for an eye, there's really no reason to assume the remaining bad guys wouldn't just kill everyone inside the lodge.

It was not murder. Larry was already dead. Was it possible to resuscitate him? Yes, but there was only a very small amount of time to do so before he would turn into a walker. It's entirely different from the cabin group-Clem situation. It's an apples to oranges comparison.
Kenny has shown us a ton. Hes a relatively good shot, and very strong willed. He keeps his head in tough situations. I don't think I even need to list his accomplishments from season 1, its obvious that he had some. With Nick however, he has honestly done nothing but screw up. There isn't really any reason to have confidence in him at all.
Because it WAS murder? There was still a chance to revive Larry. It's not all that different from the situation with the cabin group when … morethey think Clem has been bitten. They don't know for sure, and if they had indeed killed her, it would have been murder, no matter what they thought. Kenny didn't even give Larry a chance.
By what we have seen so far? What exactly are you referring to? I know Nick's not the most capable, but why do you feel Kenny is more useful?
There is just no way that's the case. I've read many posts on this forum and watched countless LPs. You're probably one of the only people I've ever heard say anything like that.

Larry was not already dead-not really. He had collapsed and wasn't breathing, but that didn't mean he could just be written off as dead. And you say that, but from the point of view of the cabin group, Clem was bitten and only had a small amount of time before she'd become a walker.
For me, it's the exact opposite. Kenny's too strong-willed. If you ever disagree with him, he holds it against you. Even if you help him and the people he loves out a lot, he'll act like it's nothing if you ever don't go along with him or do something he disagrees with. He also puts his loved ones above everyone else, to a ridiculous extent. I can't trust someone who will let everyone else die just to try and save one person, even if said person is not in any immediate danger.
Nick being less capable is part of the reason I'd want to go with him-so I could make sure he survives and doesn't do anything reckless. And I trust him a lot more than Kenny. He cares more about people.

He was not breathing and he did not have a pulse. He was dead. The cabin group comparison doesn't make sense here. The situations are completely different. They obviously did not know what Clem's status was. If she was in fact bitten, they would start to see signs of the disease setting in and would have time to act on it. It's not like she would just randomly turn into a walker without warning and then proceed to attack them. The cabub group was not in any immediate danger what so ever, and they were armed with weapons. In the Larry situation, the group was stuck in a small room with a dead guy who could turn into a walker at any given moment. The group was totally unarmed. They were in grave immediate danger. I could go on an on about how the two situations are different. There really are not any direct similarities.
You're exaggerating about Kenny always holding disagreements against you. That isn't true. The only sole decision that causes him to completely turn on you is if you refuse to help him in the meat locker. I find that completely understandable though. You're essentially screwing him over by refusing to help.
He doesn't put his loved ones ahead of everyone else to a ridiculous extent. The only time he ever let anyone down in order to save his family was back on Hershel's farm when he didn't try to help Shawn. That being said, he felt incredibly bad about it and realized that he had screwed up.

Of course Kenny would know he was the ringleader. He was the guy shouting demands, he was the guy who executed Walt. It's not that hard to figure out. The location doesn't matter, as Bonnie and Troy (the other guy) could have just surrendered, they don't have to run anywhere if they want to live. As for killing everyone in the lodge, that would be a dumb decision on their part. If they killed everyone, then Kenny would have no reason to surrender. The hostages were leverage, and without it Bonnie and Troy would just sit inside the lodge until they starved or Kenny picked them off.

I really don't want this to turn into a strictly Kenny thread.
Larry was not definitely dead for sure. The cabin group, like Kenny, believed that Clementine would soon reanimate. Not all bite victims show signs before turning-for all they knew, she had died while unconscious.
I'm not exaggerating. Kenny holds grudges. He also quickly dismisses Molly saving his life, asking what she has done for him lately.
Kenny ALWAYS puts his loved ones ahead of everyone else to a ridiculous extent. The meat locker, the lodge...both are prime examples.

I don't know if this is exactly along the lines of what he was trying to say, but I think its fair to say that there are probably many players that question their decision to not help Kenny in hindsight.

As I said, shouting the demands and carrying out the executions mean nothing. Kenny can't hear what is being said between the three. Even in a group of equals, someone has to be the one that voices the demands-there's no way to be certain that person is the leader. Kenny doesn't even have a way to be sure one of the others didn't tell Carver to carry out the executions.
There's no reason to believe the remaining bad guys would surrender, though, especially after Walter has been killed. It's clear they're willing to kill, and since they already have, they've no reason to assume surrendering would result in them being spared. There are no real prisons or anything anymore.

He was as close to dead as you can possibly get. Again, he was not breathing, and he did not have a heartbeat. There was a chance that he could get brought back, but for all sakes and purposes he was dead. I mean, I guess he wasn't necessarily dead in the for sure permanent sort of way.. but he was gone. He was mere minutes from coming back as a walker as soon as he hit the ground.
The cabin group did not believe that Clem would soon reanimate. You really like to assume things..
The meat locker isn't a legitimate example of Kenny putting his loved ones ahead of everyone else for reasons I already explained. He was trying to save everyone in that meat locker, and that is shown in the dialogue I provided earlier. The lodge isn't a very good example either, as his strategy was simply poor there. If you tell him to stop shooting, he stops.
I really don't want this to turn into a strictly Kenny thread.

I've given plenty of reasons why both are perfect examples.
Doesn't change the fact that killing Larry like that was just murder. Plenty of people see it that way, and it's certainly a perfect reason not to want to go with him.
Yes, the cabin group did expect Clementine to reanimate-they thought she was bitten and had been through someone bitten suddenly reanimating and attacking.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too.
Oh, alright. That wasn't my main motive for choosing him anyways :P

Curse this 11-year-old protagonist!;-;
As in assuming that the group would be able to handle Larry so easily, and that it would work without a hitch.
Sounds like Season One all over again.
Nick. For sure, Nick.

Seriously? That's just pushing it.
I've certainly never seen any.
