Anyone else? No one?

Was I the only one that was extremely suspicious of Matthew? Even though he wasn't lying, I wasn't about to fall into that trap again. Cough St. Johns cough Everyone was like oh oh he was gonna help us ohhhhh I do agree, it is too quick just to shoot him, but my suspicians were rising.

  • If you want the dog to obey you, train it, not kill it dumbass.

  • No, Walter and Sarita were good people, and Kenny would of noticed. So, yeah you're the only one.

I think the situation on the bridge (Matthew) taught us a lesson, that being too kind can get you killed.

EDIT: I was suspicious about Matthew, on how he was too kind. But I think It was just like to be close to people to rebuild civilization.

  • I meant at the first impression of Matthew and him being like I've got plenty of food and stuff just come to my house little thing

  • Yep I went okay your either a bandit or a red shirt so I'm gonna be suspicio.....

up and your dead guess you were just a red shirt.

  • I was suspicious of him as well, and i backed up Nick when everyone gave him shit, he could have been anyone and i think Nick did the right thing, i mean imagine if the St Johns showed up and got killed by Lilly or someone right away, everyone would flip because the St Johns were such good people but in reality they were cannibals

Are you mentally ill or didnt you finish playing episode 3?

We know for a fact that Matthew WAS a good guy thanks to Walter. So what you're saying makes no sense.

  • At first yes, but I quickly realized he was a genuinely nice guy. Damn you Nick!!

  • Of course I was suspicious. After Season 1, I now assume that everyone I meet in the game is a deranged, rapacious, cannibalistic bandit until I'm shown evidence to the contrary. I thought the same of the cabin group. Still no reason to up and shoot the guy.

  • I'm sorry, but in my country we don't randomly shoot people on our way down the street. If you're going to kill someone based off an assumption, that's the same as murdering without cause.

  • ... We didn't know that at the time

I didn't even start episode 3. Lucky you got it early. Btw he is talking about first impressions. We didn't even know anything about them at the time. Read more carefully before you call someone "mentally ill".

  • I've always given the benefit of the doubt to NPCs in the game. Unless they were hostile ( not the same as being cautious by initially raising their guns), I always tried to make peace with them. I never really doubted Matthew because he was just being cautious.

I'm pretty sure they're referring to their thoughts BEFORE they knew who Matthew was with/what kind of person he really was.

  • I was too, he kept saying "please eat" all the time.
