Why it might be Clementine...
Ok so... let me explain... Of course I don't want Clementine to get beat up but let me just say, in the screenshot you see Carver has the walkie-talkie that you see in the "Not in Nottingham" and the "Always The Quiet Ones" achievements. I point this out because the description of "Not in Nottingham" is in fact "Got Beaten Down".
A lot of people think it means Kenny since in the trailer you see Carver hit Kenny (which will probably still happen) but the text is always going to be in first person of the playable character, which is obviously Clementine.
This MIGHT mean that she'll be the one being beaten down.

Am I the only one that sees a hat and hair that looks like Kenny's? I think it's Kenny.
The hair does look like Kenny's hair but the hat is different.
Carver's other hand looks like it's grabbing on to something?
I have been trying to avoid as many achievement related spoilers as possible but this is a little hard to avoid. All I have to say is MaxNeverDies is an absolute wanker and I hope he grows up sooner rather then later.

I wouldn't count on it. Telltale would've never shown this picture if that was indeed him. And judging by how bloody Carver is, that person is not getting up, whoever it might be.

Hmm... it does look like him but why the blue hat? Isn't his hat red?
Indeed, Kenny's hat is brown. But then again it seems like there's a bluish shadow over the person getting beaten up. The only characters with a hat are Nick, Clem and Kenny. Nick's hair doesn't match, and I don't think Clem could take such brutal beating. So that leaves us with Kenny.
Maybe, but I kinda doubt it's Clem. Why would he pummel a moldable and useful kid? Even if she steals, Carver is probably smart enough to realize that he could punish/hurt Clementine a lot worse by beating/killing somebody she cares about and forcing her to watch..

My thoughts exactly. That person is either dead or their face is completely smashed (which is probably a death sentence anyway).

We have no idea who the person in that screenshot is. We have no idea whether this is suposed to be the murder or the beating. We have no proof that it's Clem, but we know she's gonna get beaten down anyway. It might be the same person who committed larceny or maybe not. Might be someone who's covering for him/her. Who knows. Maybe we should make like a billion more threads about this until episode 3 where we can get a definitive answer.
Man, I can imagine the critics will be shocked and pissed at this. Since in the past year, it's apparently cool to give something a low score.

I think it is one of Clem's pigtails. you can see that he is grabbing something and not clenching his fist. It may be a coincidence but if he is pulling on her hair it would make sense that in the slide for episode 4 she has her hair down with no pigtails...
I know people will be pissed at this but I don't think people will give it a low score. I mean someone will, no matter how good the episode is but I'd like to think they wouldn't do that JUST because it's basically child abuse.

That looks an awful lot like Clem in her new blue jacket to me. Plus we are seeing this from a first person point of view. Who else do we ever see from first person point of view? Clem is the only one. Here is my prediction: Carver finds out Clem stole the walkies, probably to communicate with Luke, and she is somehow responsible for the herd coming in. He's covered with blood from slaying walkers and is holding it up because he is mad enough to beat her down. Whether he actually does or not....man I can't even imagine. I hate him enough already but if he hits my Clem I hope they give me an option for the most inhumane death of Carver ever.
What if Clementine gets punched as Carver takes the walkie talkie, and then Kenny (Or another character depending on how you treat them) will step forward and protest and take the beating. The achievement image shows an eyeball looking at Carvers silhouette holding the walkie talkie, perhaps Clementine is on the ground writing in pain and only sees Carver beating up the person who stepped forward.

Couldn't agree more. It will be upsetting but I think it'll only be a taste for what is to come in episode 4. I really fear that bad things will happen in Amid The Ruins.
Then it's not Clem either. Unless Carver has already beaten up someone else (explaining the blood) and is now trying to hit Clem as well.

I speculated the blue hat could be Clem's and her hair could look like how it does because it's from a weird angle. I also noted that the blue collar could be that of her new jacket we see in the other screenshots.
I don't want it to be Clem but it's looking like it might be, at least to me. :(
