Would you save Sarah if it meant getting bitten?

As a purely hypothetical situation, would you risk Clem's life (and end up getting bitten on the arm that Sam didn't get his final meal out of) to save Sarah? I would, because just like Chuck, watching another young girl die just might do me in.

    Well...depends, Clem could probably amputate.

And frankly, I think a life is worth more than an arm.
  • No, because it's not gonna happen
  • Damn this is tough! On one hand I want Clem to live and grow up... On the other hand Clem's character would never allow Sarah or any friend to die because of her.

i think a life has no price so yeah also if it was on episode 3 i would know Clem wont get bitten . now of it was ln episde 4 or 5 i wil doubt a little but i think i would ultimately do it
  • Risk Clem's life, the one girl we've all come to love and protect and known since the first episode of season 1 for some random girl we just met? RIP Sarah.
  • Lol!

Call me heartless, but no. Note that this is **ME** talking. This would probably be the most violent separation of me and my Clem's ideals, which would be interesting, because unlike some, I have an easy time playing her as naturally as my Lee.

    > "I would, because just like Chuck, watching another young girl die just might do me in. "

Right now, only one can do that to me.
  • No, she's annoying to me.
  • Screw Sarah, I'm going home...
  • HAHAHAHAHA!!! GOOD ONE! o wait, ur serious? thats like saying you'll sacrifice your daughter for some random kid! SEEYA SARAH!!!
  • Hell nah, man! I don't even like Sarah that much, especially not to risk little Clemmy -_-
  • Oh man... I mean I would say just not risk it... I don't know. If I were really there, I would risk it. I wouldn't risk Clementine though, because i'm honestly not really all too scared of death.
  • Yah i wouldn't save her. R.I.P. Sarah
  • Hahaha..... NO......
  • definetly nope.xd
  • Only if I knew for sure Sarah could guarantee a cure for Clem in the next few minutes. Since that's very unlikely, I would have to say, no, probably not.
  • Carlos saved Clem's life, if i were Clem i would risk my life to save Sarah, if she risked her life to save Alvin why would she leave Sarah behind? Clem is not stupid neither hearthless she would figure it out
  • Good question. If it was meant that Clementine will be bitten during this action then no (hell no!) but if Clementine would get out of this with no bit then yes.
  • Pfft. Bye Sarah!

But in all seriousness. If we get an option to choose to save either Carlos or Sarah, then MAYBE I would pick her. If it involves having to get Clem bit then, I don't know. I don't think I would risk it.

it's not the same as Clem , when people risked their lives for Clem she was just a little 9 year old so it was obvious that if something happens to her "guardian" there will be some1 else to take his place , Sarah is too old for people to feel sorry for her and she was not prepared properly to such a world .
I would not risk myself for some1 who is going to die eventually
  • I don't think Telltale would have Clem get bitten and then live it down by cutting off a limb. Especially if it's a leg then she can recover almost fully from it.

Well...depends, Clem could probably amputate. And frankly, I think a life is worth more than an arm.

  • Left to her own devices, Clem would probably go for it in a heartbeat even if she was hardened. Guilt over letting Sarah die would probably be worse than getting bitten, in her POV.

    I don't think I would.
  • In real life, maybe - I could theoretically cut the arm off. It'd suck but I'd feel better about it then I would had I let a little girl die to save my own skin.

In the game, no. Never. I will protect Clem. That's all I'm trying to do now at this point, keep her safe. Saving Sarah when it's a certainty that Clem will be bit would jeopardize that.

If I didn't know she would get bit, though, of course I'd try to save Sarah. It aligns with both what I think my Clementine would want, and what I would choose in the situation had it really been me.
  • hahahhaha no.
  • "I would, because just like Chuck, watching another young girl die just might do me in."
but saving Sarah would make Clementine, a young girl, die. That doesn't make sense.
  • I wouldn't. Sarah is really bugging me.
    /Heartless
  • Nope, sorry that is Carlos job, not mine.

  • Lee Everett: Hell no!

Damn, still we can't post pics and thaaangs. BTW since the other thread got closed wtf is a GOUSTTTT? Lol, something you just came up with?
  • I really like Sarah, but Clementine has grown on me so much that if not saving her meant Clem could live on unharmed, I don't think I could bring myself to do it.
  • Ah OK, that makes more sense. Yeah, but now your GOUSTTTT so it's all good, bro. It's just every time I saw it I kept thinking wtf is a GOUSTTTT? Lol.
  • As much as I like Sarah, Clementine means to much to me to let her get bit. So my answer is no way!
  • RIP Sarah
  • Heh, I'm not a man, but thank you. I'm glad my words resonated with you.
