Is it just me or no one gives a fuck about Pete's death but nick?

I mean really, it's sad enough that he died but the fact that there is almost not a single fuck given is sadder.

  • I imagine they care, they're just better at holding back their emotion about it than Nick is. Which is understandable, given that he was basically Nick's father figure his whole life.
  • True but I mean carver too, he is like "where's Luke?" I mean come on is Pete really going to be thrown out like that?

Clementine kind of frowned but she honestly showed the most emotion although not much. I nearly cried at Pete's death and I felt awful that Clementine didn't even cry or even look sad much. I know she's only known em' for like a day but Pete was the closest to her. I guess she's just so sad that she shows no emotion.

But with the rest of the group... yeah I didn't even see a real reaction from Carlos or well anybody, like you said. Such fucking bullshit. Pete deserves better.
  • I can't believe carver didnt even mention him, REALLY?!?
  • I think he already knew that he died due to how when you go with him instead of Nick, you find deceased Pete later on with a bullet in his head. Might have been Carver, but we can't be sure.

  • Well, if you went with him in episode one and when you go back to look for him one of them say "He has a bullet hole on his head." and people might of thought that Carver shot him, and that's why Carver didn't ask.

  • Nick's reaction to a family members death is expected. You can imagine others getting sort of desensitized to death when they are around it 24/7 though, even for close friends. Also, they all probably know that they have to remain strong for Nick's sake.
  • The beating could be on, clem, kenny, Sarah, nate, nick ,anyone else?

  • Well, after going through all the crap that Clementine went through in the past, especially with Lee's death, I would think that the death of someone who she knew for 2 days wouldn't be that hard on her.

But yeah, now that I think about it, the rest of the group should have SOME reaction.

  • I certainly give a fuck. He was the coolest member of the Cabin Crew, and now he's gone :(
  • We'll if you go with nick he ask why you didn't save him and if you choose to drink with him he cheers his death about the "nicest meanest old man he knew".

I am talking about after that, and why carver never seemed to care or be curious

  • We'll nick being the no.2 Ben, wouldn't really think of it that way.

  • I vote for a DLC about Peter Joseph Randall!

I thought it was a given that Carver either put Pete down in the woods or otherwise came across his corpse following the group's trail. In any case, I agree it wouldn't have hurt to have him mention Pete by name at least once. I'm pretty sure at least Rebecca and Carlos are sad about his death if Clem says it outright when she gets back to the cabin. I think the writers may have been hoping we'd overlook it as everyone being too concerned about escaping to really grieve. I'd like to think they'll mention something later but with things going from bad to worse I'm not holding my breath.

  • Carver probably saw his body if you went with Nick or shot him if you went with him. It was clearly after he went to the cabin as he mentioned him then.

  • Every one who been saying carver shot Pete, I just remembered somthing, he asked Clem "have you seen my group? Couple of farm boys, A OLD MAN, Spanish guy and his girl, quiet one, big black guy, and a pretty little pregnant lady." So that means, carver doesn't even know Pete's dead!?!?
  • I might be alone on this, but I would like to see interaction between Pete and carver in a dlc...

  • Carver knew Nick's mother was dead, so it stands to reason he knew about Pete. Carver was the only person aside from the cabin group in the area at the time, making him the prime (read: only) suspect. Plus, he may have mentioned Pete simply because he didn't want to frighten Clem. Him not mentioning Pete would be a dead giveaway that he did it. Remember that he doesn't inquire as to Pete's whereabouts at the end of the Episode, meaning that he already knew.

  • If you saved pete, you see that carlos said "we have to go" five seconds after they saw his body. Give poor nick some time to mourn carlos, geesh.
  • Too be true, I think it's clem

Vince, Sarita, or a new character.

  • I gave a damn about Pete, even after he died. Heck, the reason why I still look out for Nick is out of respect for Pete's death. I don't want his ghost haunting me!
  • I take back what I said about nick being no.2 Ben, because unlike Ben nick had good reasons, Clem did look bitten, and Matthew did point his gun at nick. So I take back what I said.
  • Pete was an awesome character, I wish he didn't have to die so soon.

  • I think the fans feel the same way about pete's death as the characters and I actually liked pete, however I guess walking dead/zombie apocalypse teachers you to disconnect yourself emotionally
  • I dont give a fuck about nick so this is nonsense:DD
