Why is Clem not wearing her hat in the ep 4 thumbnail?

I know this is most likely silly but why? She love that thing to death and now it's not on her little head? Why that?

    I have a feeling she's going to lose it.

    Will be as sad as any death scene if it happens. :C

    Losing the hat could mean losing some of those things.

    Might not mean anything, but they're some voice files of Clem saying "Mind if I take my hat back?", "Please don't hurt me, okay? I just want my hat back and then I'll go.", and "I wonder where he got my hat."

    They're in the ep1 voice ttarch2 file. Probably just unused dialog for a scene that was changed or something.

    Her dad gave it to her. I know we never met her dad to know he was a good guy but what matters most is that Clementine obviously cared about him.

    It's not just a hat lol. It's a fucking icon. It represents Clem's life and family before the apocalypse and her journey with Lee. It represents her innocence, her childhood, her memories, it's got Lee's blood on it. If you think it's just a hat, then you don't understand the spirit of the walking dead.

    I don't think she will actually lose her hat in the episode. Like people have been saying, it is probably just symbolizing her innocence and its also like a symbol of hope for her (similar to the walkie talkie). Having her without the hat on the preview screen means she is going to lose her innocence and further develop her maturity. The dark lighting and creepy silhouettes in the background also suggest that this episode is when Clem fully matures. This could also mean that she loses her hope (which she hopefully doesn't).In other words, episode 4 is going to be really dark and depressing. I could be wrong though.

    maybe a walker tries to grab her but because her hair is short, there is no hair to grab and just grabs her hat.
