Since they probably don't eat for long periods of time their teeth are probably not as stained, but still they should all have horrible gum … morediseases by now. They should also be malnourished and how the hell is Alvin still fat? Sorry for ranting and I probably shouldn't get stuck on the details but this has been in my mind for a long time.
They must be eating toothpaste I know I would, actually I already do it's good stuff. If your starving you take what ever seems edible. (Not that I'm starving I just like toothpaste.)
In a zombie apocalypse, my teeth would be white. Imagine if in a zombie apocalypse and you die from some sort of oral hygiene shit. That would suck, so even though it's the end of the world, brush your teeth kids!

They could still have toothpaste. One tube can last months. And plus, they're constantly moving, so they're constantly being subjected to new areas. With possibly unlooted stores.
Im sure they are still brushing their teeth dude. i mean yeah its the ZA but they are not stupid. Having bad hygiene can be just as dangerous as starvation or a walker. The big difference is that having bad hygiene will make you miserable and possibly kill you much slower.
