[I felt bad when Christa blamed Clem for Omid's death]

The way Christa looked at the gun then Clem made me feel bad. It wasn't Clem's fault Michelle came into the bathroom and stole her gun. Now Clementine learned a new lesson to never leave your weapons or supplies in the open. After Omid's death it seem Christa became more strict on Clem. I find it odd that Clem or Christa didn't seem hurt by whatever happened to the baby. Maybe the baby is safe and with someone Christa knew who will be at Wellington.

So yea I felt bad when Christa blamed Clem for Omid's death? Did you feel the same way? And do you think the baby could be somewhere safe at Wellington? Krista probably had the baby, and had to give it away due to the ZA. The people she gave the baby to will be at Wellington. Maybe that's why Winston and his group were after them.

  • But Christa did kind of blame Clem for Omid's death. Christa felt that Clem should have had her gun on her at all times which she didn't.
  • why didn't clem just go into the bathroom that omid and christa were in
  • Are you sure Christa was blaming Clem? It pretty much didn't look like that to me.
  • UH because as many of us thought Christa and Omid were you know getting it on lol. They were also getting their camping place together. But yea good question. Clem should have been in the same bathroom as them.

  • She probably wasn't fully blaming Clem but if you look at her face expression; she looks at the gun then looks up at Clem. She has the look that makes her think '' Why did she do this'' or '' Why didn't you have your gun with you'' look

Yeah, I also noticed that Christa is blameing Clementine for Omid's death in some way.
  • yea because Christa expected Clem to always keep her weapons and supplies near her at all time but she didn't. Hopefully Clem learned her lesson not to leave her weapons and supplies in the open.

  • Well okay, you have a point. She wasn't exactly blaming Clem, but in a way, she was seeing Clem as a reason why Omid died.

  • I new something bad was going to happen when the game wouldn't let me pick the pistol up.

But it seemed a bit irresponsible of Omid and Christa to let Clem so in there by herself anyways.
  • Christa and Omid are also to blame. Who with healthy senses leave a child alone in the ZA? I mean in the places like this one. It's kind of dangerous in my opinion.

  • There were multiple fails involved. They screwed up by deciding that it was sexy time in an unknown area.
Clem screwed up because Omid literally just told Clem about a minute before to keep a close eye on her possessions.
Its like when a kid is doing a balancing act or being reckless and you warn them and they trip, be it their own balance or running into someone else around the corner. (Michelle).

Except instead of tripping Omid gets shot in the stomach. So you know, exaggerated consequences. Nothing really new, this is one of the few behaviors Clem's done that seems actually like a kid besides her cuteness. No one really to blame severely except Michelle for being a jerk.
  • No matter who's fault it is, you shouldn't blame people you're with for someone else's death. Christa did that with Clementine, and some how Clem didn't go crazy in some sort of way. But if I were in Clem's position, being blamed for Omid's death, that shit would really take it's toll on my psyche. I guess I'm just trying to say, that blaming a little girl for the death seems stupid and could fuck with her mentally (plus she just lost Lee, and found out her parents are dead).
  • I felt bad, too, but to be honest Christa did have her reasons. On the one hand, Clem leaving her gun where someone could get it was very irresponsible and honestly she should have known better, even being a child. But it's also important to remember that Clementine IS a child, and Christa placing all of the blame and anger she has over Omid's death on her is really not fair. Clem was young and she didn't really think, and that did lead to Omid's death indirectly, but it shouldn't mean she has to be blamed for it - she's a little girl. You can't really hold her to the same standards you would a mature adult who's had more time to learn how to keep themselves safe.

Then again, Christa can't exactly help her feelings, and it did seem to me that despite blaming Clem, she never outright made this clear to her, probably out of realization that Clem WAS a little girl and she didn't deserve to be treated horribly by an adult because of a grudge. I think it was more of a 'I blame her for this immensely but I'll never tell her that' sort of thing, although just because she didn't flat out say it doesn't mean Clem didn't realize it. It seemed obvious enough to me just through her dialogue.
  • I don't think she really blamed Clem exactly. Not in the "you got Omid killed!" sort of way. But it would be really difficult not to subconsciously assign blame. Christa is probably really conflicted about. On one hand, she couldn't have known what would happen, but there still has to be those nagging thoughts of "if she just took that gun, Omid would still be alive."

No matter who's fault it is, you shouldn't blame people you're with for someone else's death. Christa did that with Clementine, and some how

  • I felt like Clem probably felt, shocked, sad and kinda ashamed. That look she gives Clem when she realizes what happened is heart-wrenching.
  • There's also the thought, "If we had just been smart and sticked together, as people should do in a chaotic outbreak of the undead, is stick together and not go into the other bathroom to fuck." I'm sorry, but anybody who risks a couple minutes of cramped sex in a bathroom stall over the protection of a child, clearly needs to check their priorities.

  • I had a sense of that, yeah. But I also thought she was looking at the gun realising that she was gonna have to put Omid down.
  • I kinda have the feeling that Christa's blaming Clementine for Omid's death, but I also think that Christa's knows that she can't be held fully responsible for it. In season 1, Christa seemed to me like one of the more rational people, I think she knows that there were multiple factors that resulted in this incident.
  • What was Christa's main gripe with Lee when they first met? When Lee brought Clementine along to explore the abandoned train station.

"You're taking a little girl with you into an unknown building that could be full of walkers? So irresponsible! I hope you know what you're doing with her."

And then she proceeds to let that same little girl go into an abandoned build they've never been to before all by herself so she can have some sexy time with her husband.

Yeah Christa, at least Lee was WITH Clementine when exploring that abandoned train station.

I love Christa, but if it was anyone's fault, it was her own.
  • Haha true. A public restroom that hasn't been cleaned for years doesn't seem all that romantic.

It was everyone's fault to be honest (Yes, it was also Clem's fault to some extend)...there is really noone that can be blamed for this horrible situation!

  • Not me, i knew leaving the firearm unattended was a bad idea, you just don't do that. This was a lesson Clementine had to learn the hard way, it was partly her fault and hopefully she will learn from the experience.

Christa's baby is dead. You can tell by the time they are at the camp site, Christa is done with Clem. She blames Clem for what happens to Omid. I think Christa is Dead and we will probably find her in the same sort of way we found Chuck.
  • I hope we find out what happened to Christa and the baby... I'm guessing she probably lost the baby :(
But I'm hoping her character is still alive, and we can find out what happened to her.

I think Christa did blame Clem in a way for Omid's death, even if she didn't really want too, I think it was hard for her NOT too.

Even if she blamed Clem at some point, now that they've been brutally separated like that, I'm sure this experience'll make her realize just how much Clem's important to her, and how she misses her. She'll realize there's no using being bitter about the past forever.

She has to work to build repair their strained relashionship since those events, let go of them, and focus on what she has in the present.

Clem's literally all she has left. If they ever meet again, I expect a touching reunion. I'm sure Christa will have let go of any hard feelings by then, and their relashionship will finally take a turn for the better.
  • A doctor told me when i was younger when telling me that my mom had cancer to hope for the best and expect the worst. That is how i pretty much look at this game, i don't expect a happy ending, my hope died with Lee. I think Christa is dead, and they probably won't explore any more with the baby.

i gave the bad guy water, thinking he would tell me if Christa was alive or not, but all he said was thanks. You would think if someone helped you like that you would answer that question, but he didn't .
