Spear's and shield's

It seem's that nobody make's a spear or a shield against the undead

A spear is much safer and easier to kill the undead than most other weapone's and wooden shield's to stop advancing walker's which gives you'r group an advantage over them
If your whole group could make spear's and shield's to kill walker's and both spear and shield combo would make it easier to protect your home/haven

    Everyone tells me it was a spear Winston was using, but for some reason I always thought it was a rifle with a bayonet on it before that. Huh.

    Winston had spears. You also found one at the shooting site in episode one if I recall. It was probably Victor's, seeing as he was in Winston's group.

    Okay so you see a spear once in a while but I never seen a main character use one

    There is a large community in the comic that uses spears because ammo is scarce, but they throw them.

    So does anyone use a shield in the comics as nobody use's them in game or the show besides Darryl use's a walker as a shield
