A question you may find silly, but it's important to me

  • Ya, I misunderstood whenever Kenny said "Will you vouch for these people, Clem?" Then I chose "I can't speak for everyone." because I thought it meant only Nick... It said "Luke will remember that.", so I just changed that.. I was still mad at Nick about Matt -.-
  • Not really, not liking it is when they do something they know could be bad or took a chance. If you misunderstand it you thought your character was going to do something else.

I think misunderstanding it is the same as not liking it.

  • I didn't know who's Pete back then lol.

haha he only said uncle Pete like 10 times. lol

  • That is not the case here. He misinterpreted the meaning behind certain words. Just like Clementine could have.

  • and when they pick something other then what I picked im like PICK THAT PICK THAT! and they don't even look at the option and go on a clicking spree. GOOOOOOOOD I CANT STAND IT.

It actually kind of bothers me when watching other people play, and they click on dialogue options as soon as they pop up, without letting the timer go near the end. They miss out on so much dialogue by cutting the other people off. :/

  • He misunderstood Clementine's line of dialogue not some other character. Clementine could have misunderstood her own words? I don't think so, mister. :)

  • Damn straight she could. She could misunderstand the implications. She's 11.

So what? Maybe she's 11 but she's probably more mature then most of us here. I still don't see any sense in what you are saying but I accept that you've diffrent opinion.

  • So? She can make mistakes. Her brain is literally not developed enough to understand every little subtlety. She's definitely far more adept at it than others her age, but not enough to get everything.

  • It depends on what you mean by "misunderstood". If it's [Glass Him] all over again, go for it.

But I, in the moment, forgot about all the good he'd done and only focused on the bad. So I said he was like everyone else. I do regret it now, but it made sense in the moment, like a lot of things. So it's my realistic choice I guess.
  • If you misunderstood it, then I don't see why not.

Still your opinion in MY OPINION doesn't make any sense because we're talking about the fact that Crips misunderstood BUTTON of dialogues which are four on our screen when we have to choose what to tell as Clementine. Either way in short version - misunderstanding and not liking it is not the same thing for me. For you maybe yes. ;)

  • I got Alvin killed, and I couldn't resist rewiding to change it.

No problem. Hey! I also rewind episode 2 like... 2 times because I just chose wrong dialogue or decision. I mean, i chose not what I wanted to say or do as Clementine.

  • Me too. I just couldn't have the thought of a girl winning over me in a a fight. Especially Lee, that's a strong guy.

Yeah, in real life, you just slaughtered Nick. Nice job. Just joking, I think it's okay that you rewind back, I rewinded back to kick the crap out of Molly before she hit me in Episode 4.

  • Listen I know it's cheating but I rewind too when I think more about situations,I'm trying to stop but I can't help it! I went back to save Pete instead of Nick because I thought of amputation and I went back to choose who to sit with at dinner.
  • Now, that's wrong. ;) Misunderstanding is one thing but changing your choices is wrong. I eman... it's what about this game is - choices. You can't change them in real life if they already happened. But it was your decision to rewind, I guess so... do what you want. ;)

  • If it is difficult to live with the rewind, you have to see them as a "choice" between do them and do not do them ... :D

I'm actually trying to never rewind any of my choices. I do this only when, for example, I accidentally click on wrong button, you know. For example one time I chose as Clementine (in a scene with walker in a shed) a line "Still. not. bitten" when in fact I was trying to click on "Can I please come inside now?". Then I rewind a whole scene immediately.
