It is implied that Christa's baby didn't survive, for whatever reason. And the episode 4 achievements make it seem like Rebecca's baby will survive, and she perhaps won't.

How lovely would it be if, despite all the horror that has taken place, we could give Rebecca's baby to Christa for her to raise, thus filling the void she is sure to have after losing her child?

Call me optimistic, but I think that would just be really...well, nice :)

    I don't think so.....

    If you lost the child you were pregnant with, I don't think the 'void' would be filled by having someone else's child. I could be wrong, though.

    Not completely, sure, but she still gets to be a mother. Nothing about the apocalypse is ideal, it's making the best of thing :)

    Look like the plot could be heading there, but Rebecca's baby would hardly fill the void left by Omid and Omid Jr. It would be a nice comfort, though.

    It could work but the biggest issue would be feeding the baby, they would need to find lots of baby formula which would be hard to find.

    Even if the baby survived it would cry and attract Horde after horde of zombies until the group either
    A) Find a safe location to live
    B) makes the survivor's angry as the baby attracts walkers all the time by screaming and abandon the baby and the parents

    There are lots of dangers of having a baby around in the zombie apocalypse. Like in the TV Show, Judith was crying, alerting walker's to Mika and Lizzie's attention. You'd need to find food, formula, a safe place to live that will last a long time, and a woman (if not the mother) that will have a mother's touch and can soothe the baby when needed.

    The reasons for Christa losing her baby most likely has to do with how her body just is... which is a reason a lot of women adopt children. I mean, if Lee can think of Clementine as his own in a matter of 3 months I think Christa could do the same :)

    It depends on how long Christa's body will be producing milk after the baby's birth, of course depending on if the baby was a stillborn or if it died after birth. I doubt it'd be almost two years but I mean there are women who still breast feed their five year olds...

    It's a nice thought but Rebeccas baby will never replace the one she had with Omid. I also I don't see Rebecca giving up her child so something would need to happen to Rebecca, Alvin and most likely Carver too for that to happen.

    There's also the possibility of Crista being bitter because she lost Omid but at least she still had a part of him in the form of their baby... then she looses that too and Rebeccas baby lives...
