Why does everyone think Reggie is gonna die?

So the two things I have been seeing on the forum lately are

1. Reggie's cool

2.Reggie's gonna die.

but he said at the end of playing dead when Greg Miller asked if he died in ep 3 that it was vague, and not confirmed. Do you think Kumail just lied in order to trick us?

    Or maybe this thread as I read it has 25 viewers at the moment. Anyways I do agree with the Reggie is cool gang and I'm confused where people are just geting "LEL REGGIE DEAD" from.

    Maybe he lied, maybe he didn't. It could be a really big spoiler if he could said "Hey... by the way Greg, Reggie will die in episode 3". I mean even if Reggie will die (but we don't know) he can't say anything even if he know about this.

    I think that most of the people here thinks that he will die because almost every optimistic and very positive character dies quickly in the game... and show too. And comics probably too.

    I also found it weird he said that. Also, didn't Alvin's voice actor confirmed that Carver is actually the father? Granted, we don't have any reliable source for that other than the wiki, which hardly can be trusted.

    My guess is Trolltale is at it again:).

    The achievement "Long Way Down" looks like him, he's bald, wears the same vest, and his left arm is blocked off to probably avoid us from spoilers. Also he's optimistic as the clip is shown, optimistic people always die (Katjaa, Duck, Omid, Walter etc.) I hope Sarah is not next. Man, Telltale just hates happy people

    I don't think Reggie is going to die.At least,I hope not.But hell,we're talking about telltale here,so you never know.And besides,good guys always die(unfortunately)

    As mentioned above, the "Long Way Down" achievement shows the new character, so he is either the murderer or the murdered. His VA, Kumail, said that he survives the episode, but that could be a lie so as not to spoil us.

    He's just too nice... either he's going to turn out being evil or he'll die.

    Well, at first he said he lived, and then soon after he said it was vague and not confirmed. So maybe he changed his answer to vague because he might die in E3.

    I think some people thinks he's going to die (for the reasons above but also) because of the leaked achievements for episode 3. One achievement is "witnessed a murder" which has the image of a man which people seem to think is Reggie or Carlos.
