Possible cross between game and comic Walking The Dead.

Robert Kirkman declined to give details on how it could be such a cross between sagas.

'' Last month I was talking about the possibility, due to the popularity of the game winning the VGA 2012, to make a cross between the two sagas. Scott Gimple, the shorunner, is very familiar with the game and let them know about the fans who are watching what happens.''

In my opinion, should not be crossed. Both are very good stories, but have different stories and each would be dimmed if burn understood. The link to the page is in Spanish so do not go up.

  • if there ever will be a crossover, the showunner should better hire the Telltale writers to write the episodes. They would do a better job than their AMC counterparts

I wouldn't mind seeing someone like maybe Christa have a small cameo before disappearing, so long as she lives.

EDIT: Actually, since the game and show are in different universes, maybe Omid can make an appearance, too. Maybe they could be regulars. If it's done right, I wouldn't mind, anyways.

EDIT 2: I just realized that the title says comic. Nevermind, no regular Christa/Omid. Christa cameo, or maybe Omid regular.
  • Hmm... I don't know how I like that. With AMC's logic, Clementine will have to get a boyfriend cause apparently romance is the only priority in the apocalypse...
  • The title says comic. Heads up.

  • Heads up, the title says comic. Whether it was edited or not is beyond me, but... Y'know. That's how it is. What about comics?

  • It's fine. What do you think of characters being in the comics?

  • Haha, sorry. I wasn't paying much attention, when I saw it I instantly thought of an interview I saw with the show and the game crossing paths so I just thought it was about that :P

  • I trust that more. The show messes up most things it touches but the comics will probably be able to pull it off.

  • Yeah. Maybe Omid will be in the comic. I mean, he could be still alive.

  • it would be cool if Clem made a brief cameo. it would be more cool if they made a separate comic series about Lee, Clem or Kenny. i don't how it would tie into the video game but a prequel would be more ideal.

  • If they could pull it off, i'd say yes. There are so many things that could go wrong with this, yet so many things that could go right as well.
  • Actually, if Christa STAYS gone, she could be implemented into the comics since her fate is still unknown.

  • In the comics, it'd be interesting to see little cameos of characters... I'm guesstimating that the timelines are about the same by now? Rick's group and Clem's group aren't close in location but it'd be interesting to see maybe a Molly cameo (or regular character) in the comic series.
  • Dude I love the show, but you didn't seriously ask that did you?

Fords guy shooting up his own vehicle. Lori crashing in an empty street. Walkers can run, wait no they cant, wait yes they can, wait no they cant. And this is my brain working at 1 in the morning.

What do you mean "the show messes up most things it touches"?

  • It doesn't make any fucking sense. Like YMS said... a kid accidentally crashing in the road is much more plausible than an adult doing the same fucking thing. Also, another good point mentioned, not giving your character enough time to develop just makes them a fucking prop, which is what Carl was in Season 2 "Judge, Jury, Executioner".

What do you mean "the show messes up most things it touches"?

  • I hope they don't. They seem like two completely different stories.
  • But I REALLY don't want her to. She's the best motherly figure Clem could ask for. Someone willing to die for Clem. As much as I'd like to think Nick or Luke would, they flat wouldn't. And we already know that Ken wouldn't do shit if he disliked someone involved.

Actually, if Christa STAYS gone, she could be implemented into the comics since her fate is still unknown.
