What would you do?

Your hunting with a group member of your choice, and a Walker takes a bite out of your arm. As we've seen in both the comics and TV, it can be successful. Would you cut off your arm? You can have the other person do it. Oh, and you have to do it with a rusty saw like the one in Heavy Rain.

    Of course I would. I'd rather Clem have no arm than be dead.

    I'd say the potential death from blood loss would be worth the risk. At least she would have a shot that way.

    You need to make this more difficult. Add in "The only edged weapon that either of you have is a rusty kitchen knife." Good luck taking your arm off with one of those.

    Well if I was traveling with that new guy from episode 3( I think the VA is Kumail) the one who removed his arm I would tell him too cut off my arm!

    Honestly, I'm not sure that I could chop my arm off without succumbing to the pain. That means it's up to whoever I'm with to do the deed. The best I could is show them where to put pressure on the brachial artery, so that he/she can save me from bleeding to death afterward.

    After that, my best chance would be to take lots of antibiotics and hope for the best. :/

    Nope. I have apotemnophobia (fear of amputations) believe it or not. So yeah, I'd probably die in that case.

    I don't know man.I'd have a fucking heart attack from worryin so much.It's just scary havin to go through that excruciating pain and being disabled in any way for life will bother me to death.I can't really answer i'd like to think i'd get it cut off it's just idk...Its the only way to stay alive but it takes BIG balls to attempt to do it.

    Pretty much. I also feel extremely uncomfortable when I'm near amputees which is really stupid and makes me feel like a bad person.

    I'd be more scared of the pain. Sure, I wouldn't exactly love my stump but it's not the worst thing that can happen.

    Yeah, that's actually part of the reason I decided not to cut Lee's arm off. From his POV, I imagine he didn't want to take the risk of killing himself doing it while Clem was still missing.

    If I was in a situation with nothing to lose by attempting it though, I'd do it.
