Why is it so hard for telltale to plan release dates?

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
Episode 3 is finished and the episodes always come out on a Tuesday and then wendsday for xbox, how is that so hard to plan to release dates I mean the episode is finished so they should just release it on Tuesday.

It's not Telltale, It's Sony and Microsoft.

We have to choice but to wait for the reply from Sony and Microsoft before they could release the episode
  • One does not simply "release" a telltale game!

They have to go through Microsoft and all those big boys to get it confirmed for consoles and PC or something like that.
  • What about steam?

  • As moderators and others have explained, Telltale doesn't just release the game. they have to wait for Sony and Microsoft to say: "We're ready when you are" and then they release on all the platforms within the span of a few days. now, they probably have the trailer and game ready at the drop of a pin, but until Sony and Microsoft drop that pin they can't do anything.

Steam can release it whenever Telltale want them to. Telltale can work on the game upto a hour or even a few minuets before release on on the PC but the consoles need a finished game in advance before they can release it.
