What did you tell ***** at dinner

For those who sat with him, what did you tell Kenny when he asked if you wanted to stay with him?

I responded "I'm tired of running" because I was trying to maintain neutrality between the two groups. I noticed on another playthrough that Kenny gets ECSTATIC if you say "Okay. Thank you.".

I was just wondering what ya'll's immediate reaction was, I personally was trying to combine the two groups but I would never leave Kenny again.

Comments

  • I said I'll stay. I don't want Carver and his goons trying to kill me.
  • I forget what I did, but it doesn't matter anymore
  • I choosed the silent option because it was to early to decide for one group
  • I wanted to stay with him. It was safe there, I wanted to ditch the new group and I wanted Kenny to look after Clem anyway.
  • Yeah, I'm pretty resentful at the cabin group for getting Clem involved in this ordeal.

  • I was very quick to say that I would stay with Kenny. The most familiar and previously the safest.
  • "I won't leave my friends"
  • I sat with Luke :(
  • Kenny: "Right Clem?"

    Clem: "..."

    Kenny: :( *sad face*

    I replayed the scene

    How did Kenny react?

  • I chose the silent option too and IIRC he doesn't say anything, just looks at her with a quick sad, disappointed expression that made me feel bad.

    How did Kenny react?

  • If you stayed, Carver still would have come by... and they most likely killed those men by the river. Also, if it weren't for Clem being there, Kenny probably would have killed the Cabin group, so Kenny probably would have attacked Carver if he came by which then would start a fight...

  • If it weren't for the cabin group, Clem probably wouldn't have ever come across Kenny... hell, she might not be alive. Of course, it was just for the fact that she stole their supplies that she's alive but whatever. Also, it's no their fault that she's involved, she had just seen Carver and Carlos thought it'd be safer if she stayed with them, which is true.

I said I can't leave my friends... not necessarily meaning that I wanted to leave with the Cabin group, but I don't just want to never see them again. Although, Kenny got a tad jealous there...
  • To be fair Kenny most likely has really bad separation issues from surviving alone for 16 months so I can't really blame him for being that way.

  • That is a good point. It kind of relates to the story Sarita was telling Sarah.

  • Ah, man :(

It was truly heartwarming to see his reaction if when you choose to stay though.

  • I sat with Luke but when I replayed I sat with Kenny and I said 'I can't leave my friends'. To be honest, I see a bigger future for Clem in the cabin group. And if she did stay with Kenny, and the others moved on and Carver showed up and saw Kenny with Clem, he'd assume they're all working together and just kill them all off to try and find the cabin group!
  • I sat with Luke, but I should have sat with Kenny (It was a very difficult decision and all the pressure was put on me). I also said that I wouldn't leave my friends because I actually like Luke's character.
  • I said i cant leave my friends..
lee would never leave anyone behind and clem learned everything from lee
    Kenny knew that..
  • I said I can't leave my friends.

They might not be the best people but they won't survive a second without Clem XD

I kinda feel like their my responsiblity now lol
  • I chose the 'tired of running' option in hopes of keeping Clem's options open. Plus it reminded me of a line from one of Kendrick Lamar's songs and it sort of seemed appropriate.

    Tired of running
Tired of hunting, my own kind
    But retiring nothing
  • I said "Thank you" to Kenny and Serita's offer. It certainly made him happy.

    dude i love that album

"FUCK! I'M TIRED OF THIS SHIT! I'M TIRED OF FUCKIN RUNNIN I'M TIRED OF THIS SHIT! THATS MY BROTHER, HOMIE!"

    storytelling at it's finest

    anyway BACK TO THE GAME.
idk i told kenny i wanted to stay with my friends. ya he got sad about it but he has to look at clem as an adult. she's not the scared helpless little girl from 2 years ago yes she's 11 but shes pretty much lee 2.0 and can look out for herself now. I just figured the cabin group and kenny's group would join up which they did

    kinda...
