Theory: Carver goes nuts

So, Carver's a little fucked up already, and noone can call him a pacifist. But I have a theory as to how it could go with him from now on. To clarify, I have no proof other than TTG's history as a jerk :). It's just an idea.

I think Rebecca's baby will, at some point, die (perhaps along with Rebecca). Then Carver is gonna fucking loose it because he really does seem to care about the baby (and maybe even nothing else). After this, he's gonna relentlessly chase Clem's group because he blames them, with or without a reason. And this time, there's no taking them back to Carver's camp. If Carver gets them this time, they're gonna end up like Walter.

    If you think about it, the baby doesn't even need to die. If he/she isn't with Carver, he will chase them down In his mind, Carver was giving the rest of the cabin group (excluding Rebecca), the benefit of the doubt by taking them back instead of putting a bullet in their heads. If Rebecca dies in childbirth and they run away with the baby, who's to say that Carver will extend that mercy a second time?

    If the baby is stillborn and Carver flips and kills Carlos over it, I can see something like that happening. That or they take the baby with them alive and Carver hunts them down. Or the baby dies and he goes after them for revenge recentlessly.

    Carver's aware about everybody going up north, he'd know where to find them.

    You'd think they would be smart and go south then. That's what I would do, if everyone else goes north that means there will be more supply's and less walkers in the south, since the walkers will follow the food north.

    Carver is basically all of TTG in one person.

    That explains the walkie-talkie and Carver bashing someone up. Take Carver and put TTG, then make us fans the person they are bashing up.

    I think Carver actually cares about all of the group members. He wasn't intending to kill any of them. He tortured Carlos, but didn't kill him. He even started with Walter, who isn't one of his group members, Alvin, who supposedly killed another one of his group members, and Sarita, who isn't one of his group members. If he didn't care about the cabin group, I think he probably would have just killed them all on the spot for being uncooperative and betraying him.

    Some of his lines, like "I told you not to follow him." in reference to Luke, make it seem like he cares about them. Like he told the group not to listen to Luke and wants to show them he was right. Why would he care about proving he was right and that they should have stuck with him if he doesn't care about them? I don't really know very well how to explain it, but I feel like that line makes it seem like he cares about them.

    There's no way to know for sure about this, even if the baby is black. But, he could think it's not his and get very irrational about it.

    You're probably right. I think he cares about them in his own twisted way. But his hunger for power and control will probably weight more than this in the next episode.

    I don't doubt that he would kill any of them without hesitation, other than Rebecca(and her baby), and possibly Clementine and Sarah. I'm not sure if he's willing to go around killing little girls quite yet, I'll decide on that after I see if he's the one who gives Clemetine a beat down....and if so, how severe it is.
