I noticed that too! She looked like an innocent little child again, she shouldn't have to be smashed in the face to let her true childlike emotions out

Hm yes, another thread regarding Clementine's nationality. I agree how irritating it is to see this topic being brought up again and again (similar to Cluke, Nuke, Clementine's religion and her surname and Kenny hate).
As sad as this might sound, I do remember hearing that they designed her to look as mixed race as possible in order to have people of every race empathize and care for her. Judging by how popular she is, I'd say they succeeded. I myself believe she is completely African-American, just lighter skinned because her mom had that skin tone.
Nationality? American. Race? I don't see why it matters, but she's confirmed to be the same race as Lee, so that it would be 'believable' that strangers would think they were father and daughter.
That is correct. See the first page of the thread for the link to the article about the creation of Clementine. Since this question has been answered, I'm going to close this topic now.

She definitely looks mixed with something. I actually thought she looked descended from some sort of Spanish/Italian at first.
Not Asian.
As for ethnicity, my best guess is Arab or Arab/African American background.
