I agree, it is morally incorrect. As I said though, morality should go out the window the second your own survival is being threatened. Like… morewise, what point is having a person keep watch (Nick was just an example) if not to be there to do the hard thing if needed? They were already locking her up, for some reason you seem to think locking her up with an armed man is placing Clementine in a better circumstance than leaving her by herself. I.e. If Clementine falls ill or gets a fever, she's going to receive a bullet to the head. I just don't see how having someone there to do it immediately makes much of a difference at all.
* I liked Ben in Season 1. Yeah, he was a coward and naive, but I don't know, I felt for the kid.
* I do not see that many similarities bet… moreween Nick and Ben. Nick shot Matthew because he believed that the guy was going to hurt his best friend and a little girl, I was actually in disbelief that so many people in the game and on the forums were so pissy about it. Also his father figure just died, he's allowed to be sad! (I mean for fucks sake, when Kenny's wife and child died and and he was a downright drunken mess, many people sympathized and allowed him to be a dick to their Lee up until the moment he died!)
And the most unpopular opinion of all...
* I still don't really like Luke. Maybe it's my protectiveness of Clementine getting in the way, but five minutes after meeting him, he throws her to the ground! And if your Clem killed the dog and you tell them, he actually gets offended. Then suddenly, he wants to be besties and learn about he… [view original content]
I guess my unpopular opinion is I don't mind if Clementine dies if Kenny gets to survive and make another cameo in the next game. Every season I want to see his beard get bigger and have more ducks thrown in as easter eggs.

I've got a lot, so be prepared! This isn't even all of it. Sorry in advance for the wall of text.
Season One:
Even though the way Larry treated others was despicable, I understand his motivations. They were ridiculous, but he was just looking out for his daughter. Like how we are with Clem, Lilly came first for him. In fact, he showed some protectiveness over Clem at the end of Episode 1.
I never got attached to Omid. I was shocked and hurt by his death, as his personality was refreshing after all the doom and gloom, but for some reason I could never care for him as much as the others. Although I love Christa's character.
Despite Kenny being my favourite out of the two, I don't hate Lilly. I'll never forgive her for shooting Carley, but I've made my peace. Everyone, including us players, have done terrible things. Why should I single her out? I hope she comes back in this season, or sometime in the future.
Ben irritated me to no end, yet I wish he didn't die. After his speech about how he never got to say goodbye to his family, I softened a lot towards him. Poor kid. He perished in fear.
I never liked Molly. I honestly have no reason to, but I just don't. I'd rather her not come back.
I'll never understand why Vernon wanted to take Clem and protect her, but then afterwards take the boat instead, our only salvation, from us and her no matter what we say to him. That wasn't rational in my eyes, but hey, it is the apocalypse.
I don't want an actual zombie version of Lee to appear. On the other hand, a dream sequence of him, undead or alive, I would love. That'd really bring on the nostalgic feels in a more reasonable way.
Season Two:
Pete was too hard on Nick. The guy was fragile and on edge as it is. No need to be telling embarrassing stories about their past right in front of him to a little girl they barely know. I don't know why, but I found that a little cruel.
I believe most people would act like Nick if things came down to it. His up's and down's are realistic. We all think that we'd be strong and rational, but we never know unless we've actually been in his position. Apparently, his mother died quite recently.
I always liked Luke's character, although I admit he initially was a bit boring. But that may be due to how short the episode ended up being. I'm glad they added additional conflict and back story to him. He's more interesting now. Plus, I hope he actually did abandon the group for selfish purposes, but also for him to come around and try to save the cabin group, since that'd make his decision to leave less one dimensional.
Carlos isn't stupid. His actions are understandable, and he reminds me a lot of Lee before we ran into Chuck with his wise words of advice. We would have sheltered Clem forever like he does with Sarah if weren't forced to face the reality that we needed to teach her how to survive.
Sarah is not crazy or irrational. She is sheltered, and acts like the typical young teenage girl we'd see today. Maybe she has anxiety issues, but who knows. I want her to play a vital role in the story later on. Especially if Becca from 400 Days appears.
I never hated Rebecca. I always knew that there was something that was causing her harsh attitude, which is why I never blackmailed her in the first place. I'm glad I didn't. I've warmed up to her.
I like the second season's group the best. They're more relatable, and I get the "family" vibe from them more than I did with the first.
1) I enjoy Larry and he is in fact my favorite character.
2) The only thing I blame Ben for is leaving Clem on the streets I don't blame him for Duck's or Katjaa's Death
3) I don't mind Molly. I fell if someone had her skills they would be likely to survive the apocalypse.
4) Omid's death was definitely rushed, and felt forced to me.
5) I actually think that Carlos is alright and not a dumb fuck, and that the game just didn't do him enough justice.
6)Even though I think the wind turbine scene was dumb I can understand why it was done.
7) Along with previous point I understand why the game makers let Clem do basically everything, to allow the player to do something rather than just sitting around watching as everyone else did everything.
8) I don't think Roman was ever a danger to Shel or Becca
9) On that note I never understood all the Becca hate, a one point that seemed like the only topics going on in this forum, back after 400 days came out.
10) I don't mind the "I got real lucky" response, I feel like as the episodes go on the writers are going to slowly reveal more info about how Kenny escaped, sort of like the details behind Lee's crime.
It just seemed like one thing was jumping to another so quickly and you're being rushed through the episode, it would of been nice if it just slowed down a little and let you check things out and talk to people freely. I felt like I was watching a TV show and not playing a game, plus
I think some of Clementines choice of words were poor and the fact she somehow knows how to turn off wind turbines without even asking how.
Aside from your opinion on Molly and Omid (both of whom I loved), I agree with pretty much all of this. Although I kind of want to see more morally ambiguous stuff surrounding Luke.

I like Alvin's character, as a husband who does whatever his wife wants to make her happy, because he loves her more than life itself. He's just an underused character, and doesn't have much development yet, and I hope we get more Alvin.
I'm under the impression that there will be more determinant characters in season 2 who will make it to the end. Your choices will matter more, and selecting whether a character lives or dies will be the most important choice you will make. Kind of like how Ben can be in your final group if you save him in episode 4, but to a more extreme level, like "Nick can be in your final group, if you save him in episode 2." This will mean longer development periods, but it's my number 1 hope, and I think it will happen.
In my opinion, Kenny feels.......eerie this season. I feel like he's trying to recreate his family, Sarita as Katjaa, and Clem as Duck. He almost feels like he's gonna murder someone to have Clem and Sarita all to himself. Like he killed Luke, because he saw Clem was close to him.
I saved Nick because even from the beginning, I preferred Nick to Pete. Don't get me wrong, Pete is cool, and awesome, but Nick is a bit of a screw up, with good intentions. Like me! He's the most relateable member of the group to me, and I think he's just an interesting character. I'll always have Nick's back.
I like Carlos. He's a bad doctor, seriously, I could diagnose that bite. But he's cool, and in episode 2, I began to enjoy his character. He's a concerned dad, like Larry with less aggressiveness. He just wants what's best for Sarah. if he ends up determinant, I'll save him.
I want more hard choices. Like "Save Carley or Doug?" I want like a "Save Kenny or Luke?" The hard decisions are the story-impacting ones, that's why I like 'em.
I want every character to be determinant. I have the option of letting ALL of them die. It's unrealistic, yes, but it's a hope. I like having that choice, especially when it's subtle, like asking if Nick's a good guy deciding his fate. Plus multiple endings. I love multiple endings.
Yeah the Kenny fans. xD Can't say I'd really want to play as Kenny but I'd probably play it anyway especially if it was the only way I'd get my explanation xD

I'm not a fan of Luke, and what I really don't like is how the creators seems to be pushing Clem and his relationship on us consistently. And my dislike of him has absolutely nothing to do with Kenny; my Lee in season 1 barely put up with his ass, I only was nicer after Katjaa and Duck died.
I'm not sure if this is truly unpopular or not, but from the way Christa looked at Clem after Omid's death, and how she acted if you asked about him later after the time skip, it seems like Christa put the blame on Clem for his death, which I find absolutely ridiculous. Maybe they shouldn't have left a 9 year old in the bathroom during the ZA, so they could go get some nookie. Their irresponsibility was what caused Omid's death. Put it this way, unless Lee was completely certain they were safe for the moment, I couldnt imagine Lee taking off to bang some chick and leave Clem alone.
This gets me so many downvotes but I hate, no no no wait, I FUCKING HATE when people ship characters. This is The Walking Dead not 90210. Especially when people ship Luke and Clem. How fucking creepy is that? In fact I think this is the reason I don't like Luke.
I hate how Telltale tried to make us all of a sudden like Rebbecca (umm the red line says I misspelled her name so I'll just call her Bitch Face.) Yes, I know pregnant women can be irrational but still. I hate that bitches bitch guts more than Carver. Did I mention she was a bitch?
Carlos and the windmill. Really =_= (In The Miz voice, WWE reference look it up) Really? Really? Reeeaalllyyy? REEAAAALLLLY?? These have been my unpopular opinions BECAUSE IM PELLET, AND I'M AWWWEEESSSSSOOOOMMMMMEEEEE? (still wwe reference.)

From a story point of view I couldn't stand Omid and Christa for the longest time. Bitch we've known you for a whole what, maybe 2 days? Why are we acting all buddy buddy with each other, and why are you miss sassy trying to call the shots? Lee needed to give her the pimp hand lol. I still like the characters even though....
I couldn't understand all the Omid love, he was barely in episode 4 or 5 for that matter. It takes more than a few one liners to make me like a character. This goes for Chuck as well. I didn't buy into his speech about Clem as much as everybody else did though I agree with him 100%.
I hate moody people, though I am one myself. My emotions bounce too much for me to deal with somebody else like that. I guess that's why they say opposites attract I guess.
as for the shipping sheesh look at the people defending nuke (luke and nick) just no. Not anything against gays, but I feel like one gay couple in the game is enough and realistic. Again nothing against gay people but do we really want people calling it that "gay game." If you add to many it starts to feel like they are trying to start an agenda, or hopping on the bandwagon since this has been heavily in the media especially these last two years and I'd hate to see something I like follow a trend. To me it would be like if they had a episode of TWAU about Obama care.
Trust me, nobody disagrees with the top one. I do it as a joke. And to make people uncomfortable.
Rebecca is how you spell it. One b. … moreI think Rebecca getting nice was hinted at. Pete said that she has her moods, remember? She gets pissy.
Nobody disagrees with this one either.
Pregnant people are naturally moody. Have you ever lived with a pregnant woman? VERY moody.
No. It doesn't seem like that at all. There were two straight couples in season 1, and then there was a third and a fourth in season 2. I don't see how two gay couples makes the game have an agenda. Plus, of all the agendas, that's a great one to have. That being said, I totally disagree with the pairing of Lick and Nuke.
Ok I didn't know if it was 1 c or 1 b.

2. Nick is my favorite from S2(although I'm pretty sure a lot more agree with me in this … moreone compared to the first)
3. I don't hate Lilly or Kenny.
4. Doug > Carley
5. Sassy Clem is not the best Clem.

The only one here that really bugged me is number three. Kenny is in no way trying to recreate his family. The only similarities between Sarita and Katjaa so far are things that may just be what Kenny likes in women. Sweet, foreign, intelligent. As for Clem, every time we see Clem and Duck while Duck is still alive, and they're in a hub like area, they're either together, or they talk about each other. It isn't much of a stretch to say that Kenny would associate the two. Not as strongly as her and Lee, sure, but still. Enough. On top of that, he had already had much time to, at least temporarily, shove the Lee association out of his head. Duck was not mentioned until that point, and considering the huge impact that losing a son makes on fathers, I'm surprised he didn't bring up Duck earlier.
Oh boy. Ok, incoming wall of text.

I like Nick, because he is practically me in the apocalypse. A lot fo the things he says are things that I feel like might come out of my own mouth if I had been through what he had. For instance:
"Regardless, you could've shot one of us!"
"Yeah, but I didn't." Even the way he talks with his hands there reminds me of me.
Completely agreed, thank you. The biggest reason I like Nick is because I relate to him a lot as well.
His determinant status feels like … morea waste of one of the most emotionally complex characters in the game thus far and that's very frustrating to me, and I hope he at least lasts the majority of episode 3.
Yes I have. But as a future mother the last thing you should be thinking is putting other children in danger. It said a lot about what kind of mother she would be even in a normal world.
I try to stay away from the topic about gay people, as I could care less what a persons sexuality is. I just hate when things like this become a theme. Im better at talking about this than typing so I don't want to accidently type something that can be taken the wrong way. I'll try to leave at this. I don't care what the agenda is whether positive or negative, I don't like being force fed any kind of agenda. Even if its to tell me to eat more chicken. (Do they have Chik-fil-ay in California? other wise you wont get that last part.)
Pregnant people are naturally moody. Have you ever lived with a pregnant woman? VERY moody.

My canon Lee was the kindest asshole in the world, which often made him seem bipolar. So now my canon Clementine is the biggest jerk I can make her. As soon as I heard her say "shit" I knew the damage was done and haven't bothered letting her say anything nice to anybody. Though I accepted Nicks apology in ep1
One more, why not. I didn't take this game serious till the dinner scene with the St. Johns. I was trying to make the dialogue options as funny as I could then bam "Mr. whatsyourname (Mark) where the fuck are your legs... What do you mean don't eat dinn.... NO NO nOOOOO" And that's the moment I knew this was gonna be my favorite game. Hell that's when I started to watch the show. I didn't have AMC at the time so I bought seasons 1 and 2 on DVD and after I finished them Dish came up with a deal with AMC and season 3 came out within a week of me finishing season 2. Now I just need to get into the comics.
Carver is actually my favorite character, and I don't think he is really a bad man. Now, before the rage comes flooding on, let me explain. Carver has obviously proven to be a smart guy, having been able to track down the cabin group as vigorously as he did. As a smart guy, he knows the odds of a baby being able to make it out there on the run without the safety of a big group to protect it are very small, especially when your doctor is Carlos. I know many people hate him because of Walter's (and determinantly Alvin's) deaths, but he was kind of justified. Kenny took out one of his men, so Carver killed Walter as a display of what that situation now was. If Carver didn't do anything, Kenny had no reason to stop shooting. While he has been somewhat cruel in some ways, we still haven't seen his whole character develop, and I think he may prove to not be quite as bad as many people think he is.
On the note of Carver, Kenny x Carver, or Karver, is my OTP, and Kenny is muh waifu.

"As I said though, morality should go out the window the second your own survival is being threatened."
That's a stupid comment.
Luke ran into Christa, and they're currently debating who's a bigger train wreck: Ben or Nick.
Carver is an awesome character.
I guess my unpopular opinion is I don't mind if Clementine dies if Kenny gets to survive and make another cameo in the next game. Every season I want to see his beard get bigger and have more ducks thrown in as easter eggs.
By the way I was yelling at the screen about how Clementine should have eaten the dog. Free meat.
He truly is. Far better than the governor, if we're comparing to the comics/show.

Or, they went into a random bathroom together & left Clem on her own!
I feel the exact same way you do about Kenny and Lilly. It's nice to know there are other Kenny fans who realize Lilly isn't ALL bad.
Carley fucking sucks.
Ben is one of the best characters in the whole game.
I don't really care about Clem's fate much anymore.
Rebecca is how you spell it. One b. I think Rebecca getting nice was hinted at. Pete said that she has her moods, remember? She gets pissy.
Nobody disagrees with this one either.
1. Ben is my favorite from S1
2. Nick is my favorite from S2(although I'm pretty sure a lot more agree with me in this one compared to the first)
3. I don't hate Lilly or Kenny.
4. Doug > Carley
5. Sassy Clem is not the best Clem.
Nick > Kenny
Yeah.
"Regardless, you could've shot one of us!"
"Yeah, but I didn't." Even the way he talks with his hands there reminds me of me.
"Real cold winters, so the walkers get slow."
"Sounds like bullshit."
On the note of Carver, Kenny x Carver, or Karver, is my OTP, and Kenny is muh waifu.
