Is [SPOILERS] Cheek Broken?

I'm referring to-of course-when Troy hit her. You hear a loud crack and a hit like that could easily bash in a skull. I did some research and (visible) symptoms of a facial fracture include bruising and swelling (Clem shows both these symptoms). Other symptoms include blurry vision and shit but we obviously can't tell that stuff just by looking at her face. She wasn't wearing any bandages but a facial fracture (unless it's really serious) can just be left to heal on it's own. What do you guys think? Sorry if it's a dumb thread, it's my first.

    Weird that there doesn't seem to be any damage visible in the scenes that most likely take place after that, though.

    Lol it only looked like a scratch but a stock from an AK is really heavy

    I'm guessing the episode takes place over a couple of days. Troy hitting Clem could of been caused by her attempt to escape from the night scenes. Carver might punish someone that helped them and Clem runs to try and stop him which leads Troy to smack her down.

    her face does look swollen in one part of the trailer imo, and the hit may have something to do with the amid the ruins slide

    I thought her cheek bone was broken when she picked her face up from the ground, but I can't really tell, I'm going to guess it's at least fractured because it split her cheek open pretty badly. Your thread isn't stupid at all, my first thread was a disaster lol.

    A fully grown man can break their cheekbone by falling, Clementine is an eleven year old girl getting smacked in the face seemingly pretty hard with a gun stock - so I'd say it's entirely possible.

    I'm hoping for it to be a looks worse than it is scenario for poor Clem, that did look terribly painful. She's tough and can take it in any case, as we saw in episode one.

    I'm trying to figure out how she got a cut from the back off a gun. I don't think the back of it was sharp in any way, anybody care to explain?

    Could've damaged her teeth too.

    I think it's going to be a relatively minor injury considering the force that Troy used to hit her, if it was too bad and she broke her cheek bone or knocked out teeth it could effect her speech and that would be annoying for the player to have Clementine talking different for the rest of the season. It could leave her with a battle scar for the rest of the season.

    I think the worst that might happen is that Clementine could be knocked unconscious for a few minuets like when Lee got knocked out in 102, she will wake up and a bad event is happening as we can see Sarita being restrained in the background.

    So JesseG if you was hit by a weapon you would just stand up then Turn around to Troy and say "you gave me a boo-boo"
