I just realized something...

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
I just realized that Kenny and Sarita still don't know that Matthew is dead. Do you think it'll play a part in episode 3?

  • Hell, you're right!

I almost forgot that Kenny doesn't know yet!

I can definitley see it having big consequences, like Kenny has a plan that Matthew could bail them out, and then Clem has to break it to him
  • Kenny and Walter have private chat after Bonnie go and the way Kenny look at Nick make me think he the first one to know
  • Fuck Troy! Oh wait...wrong thread!
  • I still don't get why Carlos didn't give a shit when Clem slapped Walter.
  • Walter had just let one of Carlos' group members get his throat torn out. I wouldn't give a shit either.

  • This will play out so interestingly now, I wonder if Nick is dead will that affect how Luke will act towards you, seeing as he said 'Keep an eye out for him'.
  • It's possible it could get brought up, I just hope Kenny wouldn't take his anger out on Nick or what's left of the cabin group or hold it against them o_o
  • Oh right, Luke doesn't know if Nick/Alvin is dead. This will be interesting...

And thanks! Wheatley is awesome. :-D
  • Yeah... I wonder how would Kenny react.

Maybe there will be a choice to tell him about it.

  • What? Carlos asks "Where's Nick?" so how does he know he's dead?

  • Really? Didn't notice this. But I think that Kenny would be more angry if he knew. We'll see on Tuesday.

  • I remember him saying that! I agree with how Luke's actions towards you will be affected if Nick died, since he asks you to keep an eye on him. Your relationship with Luke could go either way because of it :) He's confirmed in Episode 3 aswell so it will be awesome to see if it has an effect!

  • Well Carlos had bigger problem's like shooting the undead than why Clem slapped Walter

  • This will be the thing everyone's looking for to take him down with, luckily Nick is alive and well in my playthrough!

  • But that doesn't mean he won't die soon. He's determinant after all.

  • Maybe there will be a small dialogue scene where Kenny and Clem are talking in the truck while writing to Carver's camp. Anything's possible.
  • What if Kenny's the reason Walter found out. Kenny finds Matthew's knife in Clem's backpack and, in an attempt to keep Clem with him, he shows Walter to cause more tension between the Cabin and Lodge group.
  • Carlos: Love birds these days....

  • True. If telltale wanted to take the path of Luke being cold to you for getting Nick killed, maybe he'll go a similar way in Carvers camp?

Well we know Nick's days are numbered because he had the option to die in episode 2, and if there's ever an option for a character to die, that means their days are numbered and they're going to die another way soon. Example being Carley/Doug, Pete...

I was thinking and there's an achievement for 'saw someone commit a murder" or something similar. Wonder if it involves Nick being killed, perhaps by Kenny or someone. Thus the "You don't need to see this" in the trailer.

TBH I'm iffy about this idea, but Telltale's known to surprise us. While we're all expecting the murder to be Carver/his group shooting someone from ours, it could easily be someone from our group doing something unexpected. But meh that'd number the people who trust Kenny again, so nvm. XD
  • If you got a choice to kill a charchter and you didn't that's mean he/she is going to die anyway

  • I hope so. Because I know Clem and Kenny do drive in the truck, the episode doesn't just start out with them automatically at the cam already.

  • Well, in the episode preview at the end of episode 2 they were walking through the woods. I'm assuming they were going to the camp. But then again, we know how previews tend to be accurate...

  • A TRIBUTE TO TROY!

  • Wow I completely forgot about that. xD
  • Or she could just lie to him; say that he got eaten by sharks after he went for a swim after Nick accidentally shot him.

I think he already knows what nick did.
  • Good point! I could see it causing some issues. If Nick is still alive, I could see Kenny ganging up on him, kinda reminiscent of his attitude towards Ben in S1. If Nick is already dead, maybe Kenny will start going on about how he's glad he's dead, he probably would have caused other problems, yadda yadda, and the cabin group will get super pissed at him about it.

What I'm more concerned about is how Luke is going to react when he finds out Nick is dead. (I have a feeling Nick will die in E3 before we reunite with Luke, if he's not dead already.) I think he might lose his cool guy persona and totally flip out on Clem.
